You get what you pay for and this hotel is a bit tired and dated. However, our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean and shower good.

Recently stayed in this hotel for 1 night. Rooms were dated, beds uncomfortable but worst of all was the mouldy shower. Wouldn’t stay for our second night. Up side staff were helpful but could do with a refurbishment and a good clean !!!!!!
OK it was cheap, very cheap! The staff were very pleasant and helpful but a few things made it just a little bit like nobody was bothered about the guest experience.

I stayed for 1 night in Oct 2017, first of all its plusses: it has an adjoining leisure club attached (untested) which guests may use, it has friendly staff, it does food (which was not too bad) and it's reasonably cheap.

Hi if you are going into Chester then bus is a must and best option to far to walk it's not to expensive around £4 return and bus stop is outside hotel and run regular Cheshire oaks outlet ellsmere port is not as accessible and think you would need a taxi as bus route not available for there. Chester is lovely lots of shops and historic town good restaurants too enjoy
