Had an amazing weekend staying in the BBQ pods!!! Very cosy, lit up with fairy lights, in a beautiful setting, in the woods. Sure we heard a dear/stag outside the pod and kids loved looking for conkers around the lakes xx will definitely return and suggest to family and friends xx

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay in one of our BBQ pods. There is plenty for the kids to explore around our site. Hope to see you again soon.

£30 a night to stay in a big ugly field with a continuous motorway soundtrack. Don't do it. There are plenty of caravan sites around Chester to choose from. This one is just awful. For this price you would expect top class facilities but there aren't any. Go somewhere else.

We are sorry you found our site not what you expected. We do plan to invest in our caravanning facilities. We are a very large site on the outskirts of Chester and predominately accommodate campers on our large open field along with our woodland areas close to our lakes.

The site at the moment caters well for anglers and campers but in our opinion not up to sratch yet for caravaning. The caravaning field toilets showers and Elson tank facillities quite poor but we were offered the facilities of the new toilet block which were very good. A new restaurant is been built which will be open next year...

Many thanks for taking the time to write your review. We do offer a small area for caravaners which we will be developing over the next few seasons. Please keep an eye out for news about our new restaurant we are opening early next year.

I went to Chester lakes camping for the second time this year and really enjoyed it, we had lots of fun and would recommend for anybody with families or on own to go, the only thing would be to say both times we went the grass was really long so would have been better if the grass would have been...

Many thanks for your review over Chester Lakes, we are really happy you enjoyed your stay with us. We do our best to keep the grass cut, obviously with the British summer its sometimes difficult to keep on top of with the rain and showers, especially over bank holiday weekends! Hope to see you again next season.

Where to start. We parked near lake by the reception next to the play area. We paid £34 for the weekend and left 9:30am after the first night. The website designer should be paid £10 for every statement they make on the website that's a lie and they will be rich! It most certainly is not a quiet the "ideal...

We are so sorry to hear that your stay was not what you expected. We are a family campsite and have many area's where you are able to pitch up if you prefer to be further away from our bar and café, and the main roads. We do employ a cleaning team who are responsible for the toilets and wash...

Well.. chester lakes succeeded our expectations by far especially after reading some of the reviews left on here. We arrived as a group of 7 on bank holiday Monday just for 2 nights in the woodland bbq pods. (Teal and robin) The location of the pods was great, about 10 minutes walk away from the bar and entertainment area and...
