We stayed here in march the hotel was busy but well organised. We had a club room which was very spacious and well equipped. There were 3 choices of where to eat, an a la carte restaurant, a pizza/ sandwich bar and a real ale bar that served good quality pub grub. The staff were all very nice, polite and...

We booked direct with the hotel by phone so was able to ask questions and got a better rate than an agency.Arrived Friday 1st March and think we got the last room. Finding the hotel off the one way system was 2nd time lucky, a couple of well paced signs from Vicars Lane would not go amis. They said that...

We selected this hotel due to its convenient location and the spa facilities. We chose a business standard double inc breakfast. The room and decor has certainly seen better days. stains on the ceiling and on teh carpet. As with alot of hotels I often find the bathrooms have mould around the bath and sink, this was no exception. The...

My husband visits the area on business frequently and we always stay at the Mill Hotel. We have stayed in every class of room offered. On our last visit we were not happy with the room we had been allocated. It fell below the high standard we have come to expect of the Mill Hotel. We booked a 'Business Double'...

Nice location overlooking the canal. A five minute stroll down the canal takes you to the city walls. I found the room average, a little dated with facilities as you would expect. Staff were efficient and breakfast ticked all the boxes without providing anything out of the box. The Mill Hotels main assets in my opinion are its facilities. You...

Just returned from a two night stay at the Mill Hotel. Location was ideal, staff at reception really friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good too!! The bar in the hotel was great, cheaper beer prices than the bars in Chester. Don't forget to pack your gym/swim kit as this is free to use to residents and looks lovely, we...

The hotel offers easy access to the city centre, just 3-mins along the canal. The room was good and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was OK-ish, excerpt the morning when the scrambled eggs were more like egg-soup. The evening meal that was a great disappointment: a funny kind of starter the was more like a fruit salad and a somewhat...

Our Second stay at the Mill, the hotel enjoys a wonderful location with a good car park, situated on the canal side, just an easy walk into town, (left or right) we stayed in one of the balcony rooms in the main block, the room was pleasant but housekeeping lacked attention to detail, in what is presented as one of...

We stayed in this hotel lastnight, rooms very small but clean and need updating. Poor breakfast, it would be nice if staff at least acknowledged you, we paid £75 worst money I've ever spent on a hotel room. i know a lot of people that have used this hotel and have been pleased with it. I will never stay here...

Just got back from a weekend break. The hotel is centrally located to Chester. The hotel itself has quirky rooms which seem to fit around the large iron Mill stabilisers. It has a good atmosphere and we ended up in the reception area each night drinking the night away with other hotel guests. I'd like to thank Maretta who always...
