Thank you to other reviewers for your honest reviews. Can only support their opinions. Dave and Ann have made every effort to make their accommodation a welcoming place to stay. We stayed in room 5 which was very spacious with period decor and furnishing. Also they couldn't do enough to help and advise on good places to visit whilst in... More

We stayed for 3 nights at Cheltenham Lodge, a property we have stayed at on several occasions. David is a wonderful host, ever so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We had Room 2 on the ground floor which is large and spacious, plenty of room. Breakfast is delightful beautifully cooked and presented. We arrived early but that wasn't a problem, our... More

The Cheltenham Lodge gives the perception of being in grandma's house from the minute you walk in to when you depart. Your host tries very hard to help you feel welcome in his b&b under renovation but you get the feeling that no matter how hard he tries his knowledge of hospitality is limited to what he learnt being spoilt... An easy walk to Chester city centre and Chester station. Good restaurants in the immediate area. Liverpool was just 45 mins away with a regular train service even... More

We visited Chester over the valentine's Weekend and was very impressed to have selected the Cheltenham Lodge as our accommodation for a 2 night stay. Our room was the 2nd floor family room which consisted of a double bed and a second single bed which we didn't need, although the extra space in the room was most welcome. First impressions... More
