We stayed for Saturday into Sunday. 15 minutes walk to town centre. Bed was very comfortable and the cooked breakfast was great and staff friendly. Decor is a bit tired but over all a pleasant stay. Limited parking at rear of property

Stayed for 2 nights with my dog. Great location 15 minute walk into Chester, a couple of minutes walk to a little village with pubs and wine bars etc. Hotel a little bit dated and bathroom was in need of a bit of TLC. But it was clean and breakfast was good. £80 per night including breakfast, but the owner... More

Stayed here for a romantic night away to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Wonderfully presented guest house with a friendly welcome (and was helpful and friendly throughout our stay) from the owner. We opted for the 4 poster bed option on booking and was a great choice. Room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast was very nice... More

Needed somewhere to stay in Chester and sadly all our regular choices were full. Found this guest house on Booking.com and thought we'd give it a try. I'd say our expectations were based on the price which seemed reasonable, however sadly the Hamilton Court didn't even reach that level. The welcome on checking in was friendly enough and free parking... More

Stayed here for one night for the chester triathlon. Easy to find, parking at the rear or on the road in front. It is a typical English guest house, but with a friendly owner, and four poster bed in the room!. Tea and coffee making facilities, nice bathroom and decor in the room was OK. I was offered an early... More

Bad start as I turned up and no-one was there to check me in - fortunately I know Chester so I was able to run some errands after I had left a note - got a call about an hour after I had arrived and was assured someone would be there later to check me in. Only 2 parking spaces... More

I booked two rooms for two nights. We arrived around 10.25 am and the Manager greeted us and let us have our keys so we could get in later. We then parked our car and took a bus into Chester. The rooms were very clean and the beds extremely comfortable. Our room was quite big, but the shower room was... More
