The room was okay but the heating didn't work, and there was no hot water from the taps. The shower trickled and went from cold to dangerously scorching hot, no finesse. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was okay, but the rooms need to be brought into the 21st centuary

In booking.com paperwork it stated 'Garden View' luckily not important to us as there is no garden other than the front courtyard...

Nice little hotel but a few niggles. Only given 1 bath towel between 2 adults and 1 child. Did provide when informed. the shower control kept falling off. The breakfast was poor. Scrambled eggs, greasy and under cooked. Hotel in good location and nice quiet street.

We stayed for Saturday into Sunday. 15 minutes walk to town centre. Bed was very comfortable and the cooked breakfast was great and staff friendly. Decor is a bit tired but over all a pleasant stay. Limited parking at rear of property

Stayed for 2 nights with my dog. Great location 15 minute walk into Chester, a couple of minutes walk to a little village with pubs and wine bars etc. Hotel a little bit dated and bathroom was in need of a bit of TLC. But it was clean and breakfast was good. £80 per night including breakfast, but the owner...
