Our office booked this place for us because it was cheap. We read the reviews before we arrived, so had some idea of what to expect. Louise is very friendly, but friendliness does not make up for the negatives... I read all six negative reviews and was surprised to experience many of the negative experiences others had had before. No... More

The owner Louise was really helpful and went out of her way for everything including the phone call to book the room. Nothing was to much trouble. I wish i would of found this hotel sooner. Great for Chester. Bus stop right outside. An ideal place to stay. Im sorry there selling it. I must go back before they go.... More

Louise was extremely warm and welcoming, she was superb and offered a variety of suggestions regarding the local area. At the price paid it was very good however it was missing a bin, the mirror had a fairly big chip in the corner and the television needs to be replaced as it didn't seem to work properly. Breakfast was ok... More

I was absolutely knackered on arrival at the hotel and the owners could tell that immediately and were so kind and helpful. They took my bike inside and took me to my room, making sure I had everything I needed. I was brought breakfast in bed the next day. Honestly don't think I would have had the strength to carry... The property has been sold to developers and to be quite honest not a bad thing. Louise the owner was very nice, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The room décor was shabby, a broken mirror, no tea bags, no bin in room or bathroom, the furniture was worse than dated. The TV was temperamental and so small very... More

The owner was really accommodating to our needs. Check in is at 4pm, I checked in at 11 with no fuss. Then check out is is 10 and I checked out at 11.30 again with no fuss. She seems happy to accommodate to your specific needs and thats the joy of using someone's home like this rather than a hotel... More

As a couple visiting Chester, we decided to stay at the Latymer Hotel. The owner, Louise, was so friendly and accommodating. She made us feel very welcome and made every effort to ensure all our needs were met and also wrote us a list of her personal recommendations of restaurants and places to visit. We were even offered breakfast in... More

Myself and my partner visited Chester for the first time. We stayed at Latymer hotel for one night. Hostess Louise, was very friendly and welcoming. Our visit can only be described as being a home from home. Rooms were basic but provided everything you could need. The hotel is in walking distance of Chester which was useful. We were able...
