The parking is all at the front of the house and there are four parking bays. Reversing into a parking bay is much the best option, to allow for ease of exit. Drive into the property from Hoole Road, which is the A56 and is one of the main routes into Chester. It is very busy, so don't ever try...

This was my second stay here, and I will certainly be back, if I visit Chester again. The rooms are elegantly furnished and spotlessly clean. Visitors are given every little luxury, such as filter coffee, hot chocolate and luxury cookies on the courtesy tray, a huge range of toiletry items in the bathroom, books to browse, good free wi-fi, and...

This b&b is fantastic. Being fairly picky, I can always find something to moan about... However on this occasion, not a single thing! The room was immaculate, clean and well kept. The owner kindly sorted us an early bfast. Keep up the good work!

We stayed at Lavender Lodge for 2 nights on our tour our the Midlands, arriving around 1:30 in the afternoon. We were lucky enough to catch the hostess home as we were early arriving. She was wonderfully welcoming and let us check in right away. Our room was very comfortable and immaculate. Our hostess was great with any questions we...

We stayed in Lavender Lodge for two nights when we visited Chester for the races at the weekend. When we arrived at around 9.00pm on Friday and squeezed our large saloon into the remaining space in the car park. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Frederika, who showed us to our room which was self contained at the rear...

My husband and I visited Lavender Lodge with another couple for a 2 night stay. A lovely house with a welcoming hostess and very friendly staff. We were lucky enough to be given two adjoining "garden" rooms. These were lovely rooms, set in the garden, ideal for us - or for a family as there is a connecting door between...

Had a short break in Chester for the races. Booked this Guest House on New Years eve as rooms were getting snapped up for the race meeting. So glad I did it was spotlessly clean. Tea and coffee in the rooms, ensuite looked brand new. Full English breakfast with a cafetiere of filter coffee, plus all the usual choices of...

Well firstly, it was easy to find with Sat-Nav. Very pleasant hostess with a lovely B&B who takes every care and ensured a lovely stay for two nights. The facilities are excellent our room had en-suit walk in shower which for us is much better than bathing, plenty of tea/coffee makings, numerous nibbles and a very generous full fried breakfast....

I am actually staying here at the moment. I feel like I have just found a gem, the house is beautiful. I have a double room, with my own private bathroom. The room comes stocked with hot drinks and biscuits. Not to mention dressing gowns and slippers. It would seem that the little details have really been thought about. The...
