The hotel has a lovely position looking over the bay. Check in was quick and easy with an offer to help me take my luggage to the room. The room, whilst small was spotless and had a good bed. The bathroom was clean and had all it needed. The breakfast was good, self service for the continental bits and the...

Excellent hotel situated on the sea front. The staff are very helpful and service could not be better. Quality of food was very good. I particularly enjoyed the swimming pool and sauna which were hardly used by the other residents. The service and amenities were those of a five star hotel. I can thoroughly recommend this for a short stay...

I recently enjoyed a fantastic pamper day with my friend - the staff made us feel very comfortable and couldn't have done more for us. We had lovely treatments, the pool area was beautiful & the lunch delicious - a great menu choice with a glass of bubbly! We will definitely be back!

we stayed two nights, were there with two couples very friendly staff, good restaurant and breakfast; the bar tender and sommeliers are very attentive!!!! For a car owner good parking, and espacially nice welcome by a man, you meet later everywhere, when needed! the right man on the right job! we recommend it fully and would come back.

We stayed at The Royal Duchy for three days last week as part of a tour around Cornwall, our initial impressions were very favourable We received a great welcome from the doorman who also went out of his way to find us a good car parking spot. The views from the lounge and service of the bar staff were also...

This was a wonderful hotel that could not be faulted. The staff were very helpful, the rooms were comfortable and clean and the breakfast was excellent! We were sorry that we could not have stayed longer to enjoy the comfort of the lounges and the relaxing atmosphere!

We stayed here as part of a group and were very pleased with the accommodation and service. The hotel is a ten minute walk from the railway station and a little further to the town. Our room was rear facing so did not have the advantage of a sea view. However it was very clean and comfortable. There was no...

For a 4-star hotel at over £250 a night, naturally you have high expectations. The location of the hotel is ideal - right on the coast and only a 10 minute walk from town. If you get a sea view room, it is a stunning sight to wake up to. The actual room, however, is small. The bathroom is even...
