Stayed here last week on business, chosen for location as walking distance to Port Pendennis as well as being conveniently located to go out for dinner in the evening. Clean rooms and bedding, spacious hot shower with good pressure to get me moving in the morning and microwave was a nice surprise I was not expecting and a welcome addition when you have an early start as there is not really anywhere to grab breakfast before 8am. Message prior to arrival with room number and how to access was actually very useful for me as on arrival I could drop my bags and head straight to work without having to mess around.

Have to come back to Falmouth this week again on business so have booked again for Monday which I think is the best review you can give! Looking forward to returning tomorrow.

I've been to Falmouth many many times with work since 2016 and always stay at The Grove, the hotel has a fantastic location and only a few mins walk to the seafront, shops and beaches. The owner Geoff is incredibly accommodating and has fought hard to stay open during CV19, offering Covid safe entrance and exits and a touch free payment where needed. The usual cooked breakfast was great and I can't wait for that to be re-established once again but in the meantime a great breakfast bag full of goodies is offered instead that will last you thru to lunch! Thanks again Geoff and Sian, I'll be back and thanks again for your all hard efforts accommodating us all, Trev McK

We went for friend’s mum 70 birthday lunch. Very impressed by the real flowers decorations and the Morden fireplace.
Buffet with 11 adult and 3 children, we had good selection of food choices from starter to desserts. I couldn’t resist the desserts and had my weekly allowance in one lunch 🧐
Staffs were friendly and helpful, although it’s a very pricey buffet but we all enjoyed it very much.

The hotel is in a perfect location right in the centre of town. It has free street parking.

The rooms are very dated and the skirting boards needed a good clean. We were in room 4 and the socket behind the brown chair was thick dust. I did sanitise the handles and surfaces on arrival.

The bed was so uncomfortable, high in the middle and dips to the edges so you can’t sleep straight.

Breakfast was cancelled before we arrived due to Covid so they left paper bags outside rooms with pastry’s, cheese and ham cob, yoghurt, fruit and orange juice. It was fine. Would have been better to take hot orders the evening before and deliver bacon or sausage sandwiches to the rooms.

Amazing view!!!

Excellent value, we stayed in room 5 with a view across the harbour. Very clean and comfortable and Geoff was extremely helpful when we arrived. The weather was warm so we did need to keep the window open which meant some noise from outside the next morning, the curtains were very thick but if you want a good night's sleep maybe best to opt for a room at the back of building. Extremely comfortable bed and pillows, tv, small table & chairs and a fridge, kettle & microwave. Little ensuite bathroom. All rooms on a key code system. Only giving 4.5 as some of the shower tiles needed a clean but it didn't spoil our stay at all.

Great Location. My room was a good size, facing the water so I had a bit of a view. Unfortunately the water side is also the main road side, so a bit noisy in the morning (bin collection). Great great shower. Comfy bed. Nice owner. Because of COVID, breakfast bags left outside room, and they were varied generous (basically my breakfast and lunch).

My family and I stayed one night at Grove Hotel in Falmouth - not long enough! - great location and staff who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. When we discovered my son had left his bedtime toy lamb there, the hotel searched far and wide, found it in the laundry truck, and posted it to us in Australia - along with a companion teddy bear for my daughter. Amazing. Thankyou Grove Hotel!

At the end of a hard week's walking on the South West Coastal Path this was not the pleasant conclusion to our holiday that we were looking for. In stark contrast to all the B&Bs and guest houses that we'd stayed at in the preceding week it was impersonal (we did not see one member of staff from the moment we arrived until we left) and had done nothing to try & provide a meaningful service - using Covid restrictions as an excuse for treating us like we were staying in a self-catering aparthotel. All our other accommodation had provided an excellent, staff-served breakfast (safely), The Grove provided an apology for a breakfast in a brown carrier bag!

We had struggled to book a last minute hotel And came across the grove, glad we did. Me and my dad were expecting to have to share a bed as it was the only room in the area that could sleep us both! As we got to the door we were greeted by a lovely man who instantly offered to give us a room each as there was a last minute drop out! The best part of this was how he didn’t charge extra, this was lovely to see and the man put us first we are both really grateful.

The next morning I opened my door to a bag of breakfast. This was a lovely start to my day.
Well done “the grove” we will definitely be back

A superb location, spotlessly clean accommodation & lovely host Geoff made for a great nights stopover in Falmouth. I personally love the no fuss element, so 21st C. Stayed in room 18, really peaceful, spacious & a good nights sleep too. Thanks Geoff & Sian. David

Hi Sorry that is not possible The hotel has 18 rooms and four allocated car spaces so we basically have to tell our lovely guests that they will have to manage their own parking in the public parking areas. This avoids any confusion or disappointment As much as I would love you to stay , this gives everyone the chance to decide to stay elsewhere in a hotel or guest house with their own parking Geoff
