My partner and I stayed at the Dolphin after being let down at the last minute by Commonwood Manor (formerly known as Barclays House I believe) obviously we were annoyed at having to arrange a last minute change but the owners at the Dolphin were superb. We were given a free parking ticket upon arrival so we could make use...

Drove down from Carlisle , with the intent of staying near Exmouth . but kept driving until Looe as it was getting dark, What a genuinely nice host , haggled a little on price , got a room on the front and the rear ( 2 single rooms) , I doubt I have ever encountered such a pleasant owner of...

We booked this only two weeks before and weren't really sure what to expect. Upon arrival we were offered to upgrade to a room at the front with a view over the river which we took. The bathroom was amazingly clean (which gets big thumbs up from me) the bed was so comfortable and breakfast was spot on. There is...

We stayed 4 nights, hosts Peter & Jean were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Located centrally with wonderful views of river and Looe. Room was very comfortable with everything you could want. Breakfasts were excellent, any choice catered for. Would definitely recommend.

Warmly welcomed by Peter, who with his wife, Jean, run a tight ship. Dolphin House is a lovely guest house overlooking the river and harbour in Looe. Scrupulously clean and well kept, my room was spacious and immaculately serviced. Peter & Jean really do go out of their way to make guests feel as though they are at home. Breakfast...

Excellent hosts who were really pleasant but not intrusive, The room was light and and spot less. The breakfast was superb, plenty of choice. Beautifully cooked and presented, all local produce. We have just returned from our second stay at the Dolphin this year. Peter and Jean make you so welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The Dolphin is spotlessly clean and in a beautiful location overlooking the estuary. The Dolphin breakfast is Peter's pride and joy - certainly a good start to the day. The town is less than...

We had a wonderful stay at The Dolphin Hotel. The room was just lovely but unfortunately we were lacking a view (which we were aware of when booking) being in a room at the back of the hotel but Jean and Peter made our breakfast (which was very tasty) table up in the conservatory overlooking the Quay which was wonderful....

I had the fortune to stay in The Dolphin House during my stay in Looe. I think is not so much a hotel as a bed and breakfast. This was a very pleasant experience. At the end, upon checking out, I felt that I had made some friends, rather than conducting a business transaction. Peter and Jean really offer up...
