We booked at short notice and were made very welcome when we arrived. This is a chintzy old fashioned B&B. The rooms are quirky, large and welcoming with everything you need for a few days stay. Modern it isn't - but friendly it is:)

My wife & I just love staying with Brigette and John at The Tidal Court. The many occasions we have stayed I can honestly say that they are the most hospitable couple I have ever met, nothing is to much for them, The B&B is always spotless, beds are comfy, and the breakfast's are lovely. Staying again in October 2016...

Quaint and traditional - just as a B&B should be. Bridget and John make you feel really welcome in a laid-back relaxing way. Good location in West Looe, tucked away but close to the harbour. Quite unusual for Looe but there is free off-road parking - but be prepared for a good hike up a steep hill to get to...

A quaint little cottage to get away. Very very clean and the owners are very easy going. Unfortunately we didnt have breakfast as it was a little early as we had a wedding the night before. For the price its brilliant. Will stay again if in looe again.

We were booked into the Tidal Court by the Tourist Information Office. Briget made us so welcome. Lovely little fishermans cottages, lots of small corridors with twists and turns. Our room was in the eaves. If you are looking for modern then this is not for you. It was cute and comfortable, extremely clean and reminded me of my Nans...

Clean, comfortable beds and clean bathroom with both bath and shower, complimentary toiletries. Breakfast comes with juice, cereals and full English , including toast. A family run b+ b, well worth the 30 00 per person per night. I would stay here again.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Family run, traditional Cornish bed & breakfast owned and run by Bridget and John Hocking. A stones throw from the river and beaches of Looe, the guest house is in great location on the level. Tidal Court is centuries old, and was previously the old fish shop of West Looe. The Jolly Sailor pub steeped in smuggling history is right opposite and used to be run by John Hocking's great great grand father. Great place to stay for walkers and cyclists and anyone who wants a relaxing break by the beautiful Cornish coast. You will be well looked after as Bridget's welcome is second to none. Wonderful breakfast, with many dietary options available. Dogs friendly but please enquire first. ... more   less
