We stayed here about 12 years ago and it was excellent. It is now under new ownership. We had 3 nights booked this time but on arrival had to wait for the owner to return from having a room key cut and then a further wait for a front door key because the previous 20 had been mislaid. The owner...

Just returned from 3 night stay at the Cotehele Lodge Hotel, our room was very clean and fresh, the bathroom was spotlessly clean, lovely bed although a little soft but quite comfortable. We had our small dog with us who was made welcome. The hotel was close to the beach's and shops, plenty of places to eat close by, all...

I must admit when I first read all the bad reviews I was worried that our holiday would be ruined, but I must be honest, they have certainly made our holiday one to remember. The rooms are amazing, the owners are so lovely and friendly. Breakfast is great and get it served in ur room. Had no problem with the...

Me and 3 friends booked this place for 2 nights. Upon arriving, we found the lady rude as she was questioning why we booked to stay there. We couldn't work out whether she thought we were gay or were going to cause trouble. On several occasions she mentioned it was a family place and we could have found somewhere else...

We don't live that far away, but wanted some 'us' time, booked in although no one to greet us a short phone call sorted out the room. The rooms was very comfortable, the en suite was amazing with a relaxing spa bath, that is worth waiting for as it is a rather large volume tub. Will definatly stay again as...

Stayed for 2 nights Fri-sun late May in the Towan suite, agree with what others say it's not really a suite but that didn't bother us. Lovely bathroom with heated towel rail, white company towels, larger bath sheets rather than just bath towels would have helped towards the extra point along with a bit more water pressure from the shower....

We were shown to our room (Towan Suite) and the owner seemed like she couldn't wait to get back to her house to do whatever she was doing. Room was lovely and kept to a good standard. However the jacuzzi bath was a different matter. I was sat having a bath and put the jets on for the jacuzzi. 5...

My husband and Instayed here with our 7 year old daughter and dog. In our experience we have found that if a hotel or B&B allow pets then you can expect lower quality decor, cleanliness and lower standards in general but that wasn't the case here. The room was lovely and clean and smelled fresh. Bedding and towels were fresh...
