Really super relaxed, welcoming to all (especially the dog!) yet luxurious. The Aqua Club is absolutely superb, and well appointed gym. SUPER comfy bed. Staff really work hard to make the stay special. And the views are extraordinary of course!

Thank-you for a fabulous stay at The Headland. It really was a 5 star experience. We loved the relaxed atmosphere but also the attention to detail from all the staff, throughout the hotel. We also thought it was great that they invest in local youngsters, who were so professional and accommodating and a real credit to the hotel. The Aqua Spa offers a fantastic hydrotherapy experience. This has to be our best Spa Hotel stay in the UK to date.

Coastal view suite surpassed expectations, staff fantastic, some of the best food we’ve eaten for a long time at the Renmor, great location and the aquaclub stunning. All this while being very dog friendly. The coastline and walking opportunities from the hotel door would be very difficult to beat. We didn’t get in the car once for the few days we were there. Though a 5 star hotel, you can feel comfortable coming back in through the door with a wet dog and sand on your boots - a great combination of lovely surroundings, great service without the formality/pretentions.

I just wanted to say what a wonderful time I had even though it was only a 24 hour break. It really is a magical place and I feel fully restored after a blissful spa and stay. I could not fault a thing, from the thoughtful staff, the food and ambience of the dining room. I felt so looked after without any fuss, just kindness and attention. I felt rather emotional when I walked into my room, to see the sea view in all its glory. This is just the break I needed. I wish I could say in words more eloquently what a lovely time I had.

Lovely traditional hotel overlooking sea with plenty of free parking on site. Sadly we didn’t stay, but we did enjoy drinking in the lounge. The staff attitude towards visitors was about as good as it gets. From the welcome at the door, to staff serving, Hugo in particular and others passing through the lounge. The atmosphere was relaxed without losing the air of grandeur the architecture provided. Dog friendly too. We will definitely be back, hopefully to stay next time.

Stayed for two nights in one of the suites, it is definitely worth paying extra for an ocean side larger room. The views are amazing. Staff were fantastic & friendly. Breakfast was very good, huge choice of items and a hot option as well, you could not ask for more. Breakfast itself was lovely all cooked fresh and again you could enjoy the views. The spa and aqua club are both good facilities but the spa is slightly smaller than expected and can feel crowded. The aqua club pool is better if you enjoy swimming. We used one of the quiet rooms for drinks and reading which was nice. Overall lovely stay.

Our Daughter bought us a voucher for DB&B for our anniversary. We have been visiting Newquay for many years but have never stayed there and the hotel far exceeded our expectations! It was “grand” in every sense of the word. The staff, without exception, were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Our role on was a cosy double and was small but perfectly formed and we had everything we needed and more. It was definitely a five star experience! Plenty of seating areas to relax and enjoy the amazing views. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and our waiter, (dancing) Justin, was very attentive and friendly. The food was superb and the surroundings wonderful! The choices for breakfast were plenty and varied and all good quality. Cannot fault anything and would love to stay here again.

Cottage well planned and spacious with every thing we needed. Staff excellent and very helpful also well trained. Aqua spa excellent. Check if building work going on in February, we know it has to be done, but very noisy from 8.30 to 17.00. Grinding wall slabs. We should have asked to move further back out of noise zone but didn’t realise some cottages were free. The workers were friendly and did a brilliant job on the walls.

Dear Ernest Thank you very much or your lovely comments. I am so pleased to see that you liked your cottage and our Aqua Club so much and we really appreciate your praise for our staff. I really am sorry to see that you were disturbed by the work which was going on outside the Aqua Club at the time. We would have moved you on request to another cottage with pleasure if a suitable one was free at the time. Thank you for being so very understanding and we hope to see you again in the future. Warm regards Wyn.
