Visitors to the Headland will know what to expect in terms of location, rooms and dining....all of which remain first class. What we did notice as fairly regular visitors is the improvement in the staff. All were efficient, friendly and chatty(not always been the case).Big thank you to the bar staff especially the French waiter and the trainee (Patrick ?) who formed a formidable...

Very nice afternoon tea served by attentive and friendly staff. Treated us like guests even though we had just popped in from the beach! The cakes and scones were delicious and the view of Fistral Beach at sunset made them even more special. Thank you Headland!

A beautiful hotel, worthy of an Agatha Christie plot, overlooking the blue Cornish sea and crashing surf of Fistral Bay. What more could anyone want? Let me list the more that I want: A bill that doesn't increase by 40 pounds when we arrive for our stay, a bill presented at check-out time that doesn't add over 200 pounds for...

Welcome not very good (no details given about breakfast or facilities) on arrival. Receptionist insistent that we owed money for the stay even though I explained I had prepaid for both nights through expedia. Emphasis in hotel communications to guests on how many millions £s have been spent on the place and how much you will be charged if you...

Stayed 1 night, used the pool, but none of the other spa facilities. Overall hotel was very nice, rooms were clean with all the normal conveniences. General appearance of the hotel was old but very well maintained. Staff were friendly and courteous. Hotel was dog friendly and it was great seeing all the dogs enjoying themselves on holiday with their...

We have been visiting the Headland for almost 20 years - usually with our dogs, as it has always been very welcoming to our canine pals. This time we were shocked to find that prices have increased by 20% to £24 per dog per night. We expect to pay a small charge for extra cleaning - but £48 a night...

Dear Mr and Mrs Jamieson I am very glad to see that you found most things fabulous during your recent stay. Thank you for such lovely comments. It is good to see that you found our food excellent; we were delighted to be awarded an AA rosette in 2016. I am sorry that you were disappointed with the increase in...

We were given a gift voucher for Christmas so decided to stay for our 48th wedding anniversary. The voucher was for b/b and a spar treatment. As we had decided to just have the B/B we were told on telephing we could have an upgraded room. Ocean View. I do not know how much the voucher was worth but I...

I have stayed here many times over the last 10 years but never managed to get round to writing a review so thought I would make the effort this time! We always stay in the cottages as it suits us to have the excellent facilities that they provide - they are always spotlessly clean and comfortable and only a 2...

Although we live fairly near the Headland and have eaten at the location this is the first time that we have had an overnight stay. The Spa experience was exceptionally good with the staff getting the right balance between professionalism and friendliness. The accommodation was comfortable and the décor in keeping with the rest of the hotel. The evening meal...
