We stayed at the Kilbirnie hotel as part of a Just Go Holiday in Newquay and we had the most fantastic time! From the moment we arrived, all the staff were welcoming and friendly and this continued throughout our stay. Everyone was so efficient and had a big smile on their faces with nothing being too much trouble. I cannot praise the staff highly enough - Monika and her team in the restaurant, Dan and his colleagues in the bar, Steve and Katherine in management and the housekeeping team - thank you! We had a slight issue with the electrics in our room upon arrival but it was sorted out with no fuss and really quickly and we had our room changed within a couple of hours. The food was fantastic, we had dinner and breakfast included in our deal and we were very impressed with the quality, choice and portion size. I am gluten free but there were always plenty of options for me on the evening meal menu and for breakfast you can order a cooked breakfast from the menu and then help yourself for other items such as yoghurt, toast, fruits, etc. The entertainment in the evening was great fun and was made even better by the fact that there is happy hour every evening between 5-6pm where all drinks are half price! We enjoyed the bingo, quizzes, comedy, singing and of course dancing! The bar staff work so hard (especially when there is a big queue at happy hour!) but were always smiling and welcoming. We attended the tea dance on the Sunday afternoon and again had so much fun. The chef even baked me some gluten free scones so I could enjoy the treats as well and this is just another example of the staff going out of their way to help and make your stay that little bit more special. If you're thinking about staying at this hotel then go for it, it's a fantastic hotel with great staff, great food and a really homely feel. We didn't want to leave!

My friend and I have just come back from the Kilbirnie Hotel , it was with a coach trip with Just Go . I have to say this is the best Hotel I have ever stayed in , It has been totally refurbished and is so clean , lovely carpets and the rooms are really nice , we had a sea view and it was beautiful. The food was very nice and all the staff are so nice and friendly nothing is to much trouble. Beautiful indoor pool which we had to ourselves. The entertainment was good but the best was on the last night we had a great singer who sang all the sixties and seventies and the dance floor was packed , it was a brilliant end of our weekend and I would definitely recommend this Hotel . Thank you to all the Staff . From a very satisfied customer
