We stayed at Lewinnick for 5 nights in a sea view room. The room was comfortable and spacious with a great view. Fabulous location with Fistral and Crantock beaches within easy and picturesque walking distance. All the meals were of excellent quality and the staff were friendly. Our only reservation would be that it is not really a hotel - more of a pub with rooms and the restaurant can be pretty noisy. Also, the lighting in the bathroom could be brighter.

For almost $500 a night you are not guaranteed a place at the table. I had to badger the manager to be seated at 2 pm inside. Ordered a bottle of wine and then never saw a server again. Interesting way of doing business. Walk-Ins have more sway than guests apparently. Perhaps I expected too much for such a price. Noisy restaurant but views spectacular. Going with once only sadly

A wonderful stay in beautiful surroundings. it is a real treat and superb location to explore the area around Newquay and beyond. A place with great views, real comfort and marvellous food. The greatest asset of the Lodge though is the team of staff. The whole team go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible, taking care of everyone's needs, including the well behaved dogs. From a very warm welcome, from Tara and Lina, through to the constant attentive care from friendly and helpful bar and restaurant staff, indeed all staff, made our stay a very pleasant, safe and happy stay. We will definitely be going back again
