Stayed here on a bargain break weekend (self drive). The hotel is clean and well run. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. It was obvious that many guests had been before (as had I). The food was well prepared and varied - the dessert table must be mentioned - it was very good. One point that could have improved...

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days and on arrival we were made very welcome and after the usual form filling we were shown to our room, oh! what a disappointment as the room looked like something out of the 50's, paint over the cracks handles loose on the doors, no shower, only a bath( which we not used...

Visited this hotel as part of a holiday with David Urquhart Travel. Found the hotel to be in need of a complete refurb. The decor is tired and dated and in places not the cleanest, and every floorboard seemed to squeak making it difficult to sleep. Only seemed to get hot water if no-one else was using it! Tea and...

Excellent service. We were made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff. Good position for town centre. The place looked a bit tired but very clean. Dog friendly room with enclosed courtyard, perfect!

Friendly, helpful staff. Hotel is clean but tired. A traditional b&b, value for money Great location, but away from the noise of the night life. Parking handy. Didn't have breakfast, decided to head out for that

Had trouble getting one night over the weekend. This hotel accommodated me. Not bad value for money, friendly staff. Needs a bit of up dating. Had single on suite room and all you can eat breakfast. Bit noisy at night banging of doors although not the hotels fault. Easy walk to centre and Tesco express near by.
