This little gem in Penzance is well worth a visit!
A friendly welcome awaited us from the lovely Michelle, we were then shown to the beautiful first floor bay fronted triple bedroom and were pleasantly surprised by the decor and amenities. Spotlessly clean , plenty of complimentary tea and coffee etc . Fluffy towels and complimentary shower get and hand creams .
My only ( this is just a suggestion) disappointment is there’s no small fridge . But , you are able to use the one in the breakfast room , that is also stocked with fresh milk for your tea!
We brought a small dog with us , he has never stayed in such a nice room before, you would never know that other dogs have stayed there due to the immaculate floors .
Breakfast. Served by the super friendly and helpful Nigel , nothing is too much trouble , the cooked breakfast is fresh and contains good quality ingredients. And you can ask for extra portions , no fuss! Michelle’s poached eggs are perfectly cooked , that’s a pure joy to me as I’m super fussy about my eggs! Fresh fruit pots , yogurts and cereals compliment it all .
One couple monopolised the window table for the whole stay ,( beach towel at dawn kind of people 🤦‍♀️) but there’s nothing they can do about that.
The room is bright and airy and spotless. No dogs allowed , quite rightly.
We walked ours first then left him in the car outside the front window as it is very shady with the large trees at the front in the morning ( car windows down) while we ate rather than leave him in the room alone.
Nigel was genuinely interested in our holiday and was helpful with bus times and maps and places to go. He even waved us off from the doorstep when we left !! It’s like visiting a new friend , just lovely . We will return next time we are down . It’s just lovely! Thank you Nigel and Michelle ! You do a superb job !

Room Tip: Parking is good , but if you need to be right outside the B&B it’s best to get there before 5pm....

After a week of hiking though not only The Cotswold Way trails, and now 1/2 way into our 2 more weeks along the SWCP from St. Ives. to the Lizard, our 2-night stay (Sept 15, 16) in Penzance at the Penmorvah B&B was a most wonderful and extremely pleasant accommodation. It was perfect way and much-needed time to enjoy an extra day off (Sept 19, 20) from the daily hikes. Hosts, Michelle and Nigel, made us feel very welcome. Nigel treated us to delicious and plentiful breakfasts each morning, plus he’s a great conversationalist; we not only thoroughly enjoyed talking with him, but he was a huge help re: finding our way around re: bus transportation, local restaurants, and points of interest. Our twin room was perfect - very clean and comfortable. Many thanks, Nigel and Michelle for your kindness and generosity. This was a great stay which we will fondly remember. All the best! Laurie and Nancy.

This hotel is a bus ride from the station if you want to sit, or a 10 minute walk if you fancy it, mostly along the seafront. The walk would allow you to inspect likely eating (and drinking) places, as well as enjoying the views and the air.
Our room was comfortable and clean; fresh milk and little jugs available so you don't have to create plastic waste or drink the UHT stuff; even a bathtub if there is sand to wash off (not for us at the end of September!). And the proprietors are as friendly and helpful as you could wish.
Then there is breakfast. A cooked breakfast can be a variable thing, but not at Penmorvah. Cooked to order, and cooked perfectly; served with charm; and accompanied by cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juice, tea, coffee...
We were lucky to find this place.

Absolutely outstanding experience at the Penmorvah! The owners (Michelle and Nigel) were attentive to even the smallest details and made our stay exceedingly comfortable. Our room was spotless, the beds were cozy and breakfast was very very good. We loved our stay at Penmorvah and highly recommend!

Not yet left to go home but wanted to say, this is a lovely little B&B, great breakfast and the rooms are spot on. Located close enough to the sea front and in a good location for short travels too. Couldn't have asked for more from the owners, friendly, warm and helpful.

We have stayed at Penmorvah for a number of years now and have to say that Michelle and Nigel are two of the nicest people you could wish to meet. They will do anything in their power to help you and to make your stay comfortable. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is superb. We have experienced a couple of problems over the years with our car and travel times and every time, Michelle and Nigel have helped us out beyond anything you would normally expect when staying in a b&b. Can't rate them highly enough.
