Detailed Reviews
My partner and I spent four nights at this lovely B&B. We were welcomed by Liz, the owner, and immediately felt relaxed and at home. The room was comfortable and we both had extremely sound sleeps, regardless of the very hot weather outside. The ensuite shower provided a nice hot , refreshing end to each of the well travelled days; we were happy.
I personally ordered a different combination of hot breakfast foods each morning, because Liz organised a pre breakfast form, where one could do this. There was also a standard choice of cereals, fruit, juice and tea/coffee to help add energy to the day's activities.
To sum up we happily recommend the Rosalie Guest House whole heartedly. A huge thanks to Lizz and her husband for their hospitality and for creating such a nice place to stay.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Rosalie guesthouse earlier this month, post G7 and were lucky enough to secure some sunny weather to boot. Liz is a very welcoming host and really goes the extra mile to ensure guests have a relaxing stay. She is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local area, and is happy to offer tips and suggestions for activities and excursions. There is a wide range of fresh and delicious food for breakfast - I particularly enjoyed the boiled eggs with cheese board and a full English (on different days!)
The rooms are comfortable and well appointed - I slept very well. The guesthouse is very conveniently located for the seafront and central Penzance, and makes a great base to explore Cornwall. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Liz, the landlady of this guest house and her staff really run a tight ship here. The guest house is very clean, comfortable and they do a fantastic breakfast. We had a twin room right at the top of the house with an en-suite bathroom. Beds were super comfortable and the room was spotless. Parking on the street right outside and its free.
We visited during COVID restrictions and all the safety measures in place made us feel very reassured.
The guest house is right on the edge of Penzance, a short walk from Newlyn where we were attending a course. Very quiet and surrounded be some fab restaurants for your evening meal.

The House is more "British" than any of the other places I stayed in England. So pretty and idyllic. My impression of Liz the host is as a motherly, benign figure. She cooks wonderful, custom-ordered breakfast, and dutifully cleans up our room. When one of us fell, she did her best to do an emergency bandage, and gave us a walking stick for free to use. We were so touched by her sincerity and kindness.

We stayed 3 nights in Rosalie Guest house. Very clean and covid safe. A generous breakfast with a wide variety of choices. Friendly helpful staff and a good location. The guest house is in walking distance of restaurants, the town centre and the promenade. Road parking not a problem.

It is a year already since i was there!! Stayed right up the top. Liz and her sister, ?sorry, were so very nice. Loved Penzance, my third visit since 1970, and want to return.
Do hope you and yours are all well and keeping safe, Liz, at this bad time. Remembering a special visit. Hope to see you again sometime.

I am late posting this review but didn't want to miss out on saying that Staying at Rosalie's was a treat. Liz greeted us very warmly on our arrival and made sure we were comfortable. She made some great suggestions on where to go for dinner and directions around town. In the morning, our English breakfast was superb. When we went out the next day our rented car would not start and in order that we not loose a day of our vacation Liz offered to be the "go to" person should a mechanic need to come. Hospitality does not get better than that. In the end it was a simple fix and it was not needed but not only is Rosalie's a fine B&B but way above expectations. Room and bed were very comfortable too! Thanks for everything.

Stayed in a twin room. There were two single beds pushed together when we arrived so we had to separate them. There was just enough room to shuffle around the beds and nowhere to put luggage. The bathroom was down a set of stairs in another room and had to be locked all the time to keep other guests out. We thought it had an ensuite bathroom but it didn't. Clean place and nice breakfast but wouldn't go back due to room arrangement and no ensuite.
