Our stay at Bryher Cottage was excellent ! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a full demonstration of all the amenities that made me feel right at home. The owners are incredibly friendly, offering great local tips and ensuring every detail of my stay was perfect.
The room was cozy, warm, clean, and beautifully decorated – you could tell a lot of thought had gone into creating a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had a restful night’s sleep.
Breakfast each morning was a real treat! The homemade bread, pastries, fresh fruit, and yoghurts of my choice. I couldn’t wait to start my day with such a delicious meal.
The location was ideal too – peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently close to local the local pub and bus stop. The attention to detail in both the service and the accommodations truly set this B&B apart.
Ok it may not be the cheapest but it is worth every single penny!! A special thanks for the `goodies` left for us in the fridge or breakfast trolley.

Bryher Cottage is located in Paul which is a quaint Cornish village with a small pub/restaurant and a small very interesting Church. It is just a 20 mins walk down the gentle hill to Mousehole and about a 25 min walk down a very steep hill to Newlyn. Of course walking back up takes longer and requires much more oxygen..
Bryher cottage is an immaculately converted annex building (previously a large garage) Internally the attention to detail and the quality of the facilities, the furnishings and the overall the presentation is well beyond most other B&B’s. It is full of character with exposed granite walls and exposed green oak roof beams. Outside, and directly next to the cottage you have private off road parking, ample room for a large car.
Breakfast is not a cooked breakfast, however every morning you are provided with quality pastries, fresh uncut bread, jam(s), yoghurts, orange juice, fresh milk, fresh fruit etc etc. In the small kitchen area there is a fridge, toaster, kettle, cutlery, glasses (inc wine glasses) and cups, everything you need.
The main room has a two seater comfortable settee, a modern electric real flame effect fire and a large smart TV. The BT WiFi is a strong and remained reliable for the duration of our stay.
The bed is a massive memory foam very very comfortable bed with a choice of soft / hard pillows and exceptional bedding / quilt.
Whilst there is no bath the bathroom has a large walk in rain fall shower with all the toiletries anyone will need and plenty of towels. There is also an hairdryer.
To top it all the owners John and Louise leave small surprises in your room so when you return after a day of touring you may find such things as miniature Gin and Tonic, local cheese and crackers etc.
Everything about our stay at Bryher Cottage was exceptional and we will without any doubt be staying again very soon.

Everything about the short stay at Bryher Cottage was spot-on, once I made the booking I asked John a few questions by phone and on the booking.com messenger service. When we arrived at the property we were greeted by Louise who showed us around the cottage.
Bryher cottage is a garage conversion and has been luxuriously furnished in a studio format with most elements that would be found in 5 star hotels. The bed was sumptuous with high quality linens and pillows, there was also a comfy sofa to chill out on. There were wall mounted controls for the skylight blinds. The large TV had freeview channels as well as Netflix and on-demand channels so there was enough to binge-watch. The bathroom was well equipped with a powerful rain shower, there was a kitchenette with a supply of crockery and cutlery.
There was a fridge with supplies for breakfast including yogurt/butter and jams, bottled juice and milk. An extra bonus was the welcome bottle of cava. On a trolley were breakfast cereals and whilst we were out John brought in pastries and a loaf of bread. In the room there was also a toaster and tea/coffee facilities including a cafetiere.
The cottage definitely had the wow factor with attentive hosts but balancing it finely without being intrusive. Bryher Cottage is a few minutes drive up the hill from Newlyn and a little over 10 minutes walk down the hill into Mousehole and is a charming place that we want to keep returning to.
