The location is great almost on the seafront and very near the amazing Jubilee Pool recently restored. Food is of a typical Pub standard. Quite an atmosphere in the evening, very friendly. The yacht is within walking distance of Penzance town and the little harbour is round the corner. Ideal base for visiting fantastic beaches.

This is a fabulous place to stay in Penzance. Our room was lovely with a fantastic sea view. Breakfast freshly cooked and very tasty. Bed comfy and lovely food served in the pub. Staff helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble. We would be happy to return.

Staff very friendly arrived really early asked if we could leave bags, it was not a problem. Good food in the bar and room was large, clean, bright and great sea view. Only a short walk from town and station.

This pub is very conveniently situated by the harbour so is ideal for an overnight stay for travellers over to the Isles of Scilly - or it could be, Unfortunately the pub is very noisy so a decent night's sleep is difficult. The departure time for the Scillonian can vary and on the day we travelled that meant an exceptionally...

Older type property so don't expect the Ritz but this is made up for by the welcome at this family owned property, it is in a very good location, easy access for everything, stunning views over the harbour and bay and excellent quality food and real ale. Our room (no 3) was a family room with a comfy double bed...

Pleasant staff and comfortable seating. We tried their Tapas and I should offer a warning here,if you go for this avoid the 'crispy beef',it was like charcoal but had less taste. When paying I pointed this out and was told that the 'Second chef' was on duty and she would pass on the message......now sadly that and not what5 should have...

Booked their room for a nice relaxing weekend with my pregnant wife, what a miss! View was good, Room was clean, breakfast ok, wifi unusable in the room but worst of all the NOISE! Our room was above their bar which gets packed with rowdy locals and plays loud tunes well after 11pm. Really wasn't worth the money. Avoid if...

Have just got back from a 2 night B & B break that we won in a raffle - not sure what to expect but we just loved the friendly atmosphere - it actually felt like coming home each evening - also brilliant to see so many locals there - we had a stag night and loads of other locals...
