From the moment we first made enquiries about getting married in this lovely hotel, we found the staff so helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a lovely big room with a four poster bed and superb sea views. The bed was very comfortable, with good quality bed linen. The staff laid up the tables for the...

Great location, right on the sea front with ample parking to the rear. Our very spacious room had a fabulous view out to sea. The staff were very helpful and friendly and best of all, dog friendly. The only down side for me was the 'low budget' English breakfast.

Stayed 2 nights here in March. Room large and comfortable, dining room very pleasant with sea view for breakfast. Nice clean linen on the tables, choice of buffet and menu for breakfast. Dinner very well cooked and presented. No complaints.

What a surprise, booked a single room without sea view, paying £37.50 including breakfast, so expected a cupboard under the stairs. What I got was a huge room with a large bed overlooking the sea!! The bathroom was so big it had a table and chair in it. The building is amazing, very grand, I can only imagine how posh...

We had 5 days and had a great stay. Please note that this is not an Ibis/Travelodge/Premier Inn. It is a grand old Lady of a hotel, like staying in someone's gracious home. Antique furniture and there is a baby grand piano ! Fine art works hang on many of the walls. Our room was at the back, overlooking the...

We stayed here on a Saturday evening for one night. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, all friendly and nice people. The room was very comfortable, clean and warm. The views are amazing although we only had a side seaview room but when in the dining room or coffee room you can see the sea splashing over the...

Very large comfortable bedroom and bathroom on the first floor overlooking the sea. We were only going bed and breakfast, but ended up eating evening meals (very average) at the hotel as the good restaurants in the town weren't near enough for us to pop out to without the car. (Weather not permitting). Couldn't fault it but certainly wouldn't go...

The staff are very friendly and helpful and the room I had was clean and had everything I needed. I only booked a single room so was pleasantly surprised to find that I had a double bed. OK so the decor is old fashioned but I think that it is perfectly in keeping with the style of the hotel. The...
