My husband and I spent 2 nights here as part of our mini moon and we can't recommend it highly enough. The property is located within easy access of the town centre & the beach and the rooms are spotless, bright & well presented. Clare & Kevin are brilliant, they are welcoming. friendly & super helpful. The breakfast is also amazing!!!

Perfect blend of Professionalism and Friendliness. Clare handles front of house and was great to communicate with.
The B&B is beautifully presented and rooms contain everything you need for a comfortable stay. The WiFi signal is strong throughout the house. The breakfast is outstanding. Kevin makes a great Cooked Breakfast and the continental selection is good.
I ended up staying an extra night. First night in the single room was good, it has a small balcony with an awesome view towards St Michael's Mount. The family room also has a nice bay window with a lovely view out to the sea and is very spacious.
I highly recommend to stay.

Bay Lodge is beautiful, exceptionally clean and the hosts Clare and Kevin are amazing. They are so friendly and helpful it is a real home from home. I cannot recommend enough, we will definitely be staying again.
The location is fabulous just a short walk into Penzance centre, we did it in just short of 10 minutes with a pushchair and a wheelchair.

The breakfasts were delicious, a good choice and and it proved an ideal stay. My room even had a small balcony giving views of st michaels mount in the distnace. would highly recomend

This is our 2nd visit to Bay Lodge, it was simply great, nothing to fault at all, Kevin and Clare are the perfect hosts.

The whole place is spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was faultless..

We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked for next year but hopefully can get the time to come again even sooner.

The location is great with great transport links and only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Penzance, free parking too, so many things to see within a relatively short distance so a perfect spot for exploring the south west.

This really is a gem of a b&b...can't praise it enough.

Been meaning to leave a review but was locked out of my account! Stayed here last year for a few nights the owners are lovely and breakfast was 10/10. The room we stayed in was the family room I think, very comfortable, comfy beds. You can see the owners pay attention to details with things like the little bottles of fresh milk on the landing to have tea/coffee in the morning for example. Would definitely stay again if I'm in the area.

I confess to being baffled at some of the reviews of the Bay Lodge. Having said that, Clare was warm, welcoming and efficient, the breakfast was good - the individual bowls of fruit were a very nice touch - and there is a lovely view of St Michael's Mount from the landing.

The room was comfortable, although the duvets were thin and narrow and the bathroom tiny. Bending over the sink is a hazard as you may well set off the automatic soap dispenser into your hair.

But the reason I will not be returning is Kevin. At least I assume that's who he was, as he didn't introduce himself, nor greet us in any way. When my friend and I explained who we were we got an unsmiling "I know who you are" in response. When we made a perfectly reasonable request, instead of a polite explanation as to why it wasn't possible, we were treated to a lengthy rant. I have stayed in many hotels in many different places and have never experienced such spectacular rudeness. I write this with a heavy heart as Clare worked very hard to make our stay comfortable but it was memorable for the wrong reason.

We stayed here for two nights before a visit to the Scilly Isles and had a wonderful stay. Claire is the supreme hostess being so friendly and helpful and offering wonderful service. The breakfasts are some of the best we've had offering fruit, cereal, yoghurt as well as a full English (or basically anything else we wanted). We had a bit of a stressful time trying to organise our trip to the Scillies as our flight was cancelled but Claire did everything she could to help us. The centre of Penzance is about ten minutes walk away but the square where the B&B is located is like a little oasis - quiet with free parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Just a great place to stay and the owners couldn’t do enough to help. From initial phone call to final breakfast I was made to feel incredibly welcome by both Clare and Kevin. The room was clean and tidy with a view out to the sea. Breakfast is lovely and ready for you at the time you request. I really enjoyed my stay and will be returning for sure.
