We've stayed in room 4 a few times now and always find it a pleasant experience. Brian and Rita are great hosts without being fussy and there's a relaxed atmosphere about the whole building which appeals. The room is spacious and surprisingly quiet. Yes, the loo does make a weird noise after flushing, but somehow this just adds to the...

Maybe we had the worst room but there was a damp patch on the ceiling above the black mould/mildew down the wall and around the window frames. There wasn't one hook in the en suite so had to hang the towels over the bed frame, ( the radiator was rusting) Be warned if anyone uses the loo in the night...

I met my friends in Polperro and took them to the Old Mill House b&b where they were staying for one night. The landlady was neither friendly or helpful. I went up to their room and was glad I wasn't staying there for the night. They have shag pile carpet on the floor which didn't help the initial impression of...

Visit the mill house every year great place to have a drink under new management this year and an improvement in the food has been made but still room for improvement to compete with the Blue Peter and Three Pilchards but things are going in the right direction and good prices.

We have just stayed for six nights in this lovely place, Brian and rita, who run the mill, treated us very well, good selection of beers and good food, we found the prices reasonable and an all round lovely visit. I recommend it.

I have literally just walked in the door after a 6 hour drive home from Polperro and I just had to write this review before I even unpacked ! What a wonderful place! Our first visit was a quick drink in the lovely beer garden where we were served and looked after by Phil. He could not do enough to...

We stayed in Polperro for 5 nights and ate here for 3 of the evenings and the food was lovely. The new owners are very welcoming and Phil and Ethan behind the bar are very friendly. There is a lovely beer garden by the side of the river in a great location. We also found out during our visit that...

We visited The Old Mill House several times during our week stay in Polperro, because the newly elected Mayor and Mayoress of Polperro (just for fun amongst the villagers!) Brian and Rita, were very welcoming and hospitable. Nothing was too much trouble, as Brian showed when kindly making us some gorgeous prawn sandwiches, even though the kitchen was already closed....

The new owners were very welcoming. The location is no more difficult to get to than any other place in the village. The rooms were clean and tidy.In need of some finishing touches to bring the standard up. However I am sure this will be on their to do list.
