A stunning location overlooking St Ives beaches. Our room was enormous with panoramic views of the beaches. It was newly decorated, quite luxurious in fact, with ample storage space. The bathroom was a good size with a powerful shower. The service from the staff was excellent. I asked for more coat hangers (as I always take too many clothes) and...

We stayed here for a week in August - we were four adults and two children. The food and the service are second to none, and the staff cannot do enough to help you. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the beach and shops, although be prepared for a steep climb home. We had three rooms between the...

The hotel is for those wanting to enjoy the great outdoors walking in the area. The staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to make sure everyone had a great time. The facilities were excellent, I enjoyed the heated swimming pool on several days but then I was really...

A pleasant enough hotel, in quite a good location, but, and it is a big but, it is not really for B&B or casual travelers. It is also at the top of a very steep hill, which is fine going into St. Ives, but not so good coming back! Chy Morvah is a hotel that is for dedicated walking holiday...

If this review was just about the staff then they would all get 5 star +. Absolutely fantastic from the moment you arrive. I had particular dietary requirements and Gabriella and the chef dealt with this without any fuss and I had fantastic food throughout my stay. The hotel is ideal for a walking holiday and has great facilities including...

I thoroughly enjoyed the whole week. The choice of 3 walks every day is great and all the leaders were superb - competent, friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is extremely well run and all the staff friendly and efficient. My room was a small single one, but I had everything I needed and a view of the sea as a...

We stayed at this lovely hotel, as part of our organised walking holiday with HF. The room (32) was wonderfully located, quiet, spacious with a newly renovated bathroom, (power) shower was always warm and spacious cubicle. The staff were second to none with regards to looking after every single guest. Their system regarding ordering lunch and dinner was fantastic; varied,...

Guess what, this hotel is in a great place, and has car parking. We stayed on a B&B basis. We had a huge sea facing room, great shower and very good breakfasts. What more do you need. You don't get all the attention of the usual hotel - they kind of let you get on; which was great for us....

Yet again I went on holiday with HF Holidays, a walking holiday based at Chy Morvah in beautiful ST Ives, Cornwall. The room was very good, and clean. House management was excellent. Catering was of excellent quality and massive quantity. (You cannot go on a walikng holiday with HF and lose weight!) Walking leaders- 3 lovely individuals. Social times in...
