Rather run down and old fashioned, with a Christian run organisation backing it more for the Religious Retreat crew. Basic menu and no lift, parking leaves a lot to be desired and the grounds are in need of some work with the view point being inaccessible due to over growth. With that said the staff are very friendly and amenable

We visited this hotel when traveling around Cornwall. It is situated in a really quite area. The hotel room was clean but we had shared bathroom and toilet in the corridor ( I found this a little bit disappointing). The shared bathrooms were super clean though. The breakfast is fantastic and they have a veggie sausages too. Great variety of...

Polite staff, restful location and good atmosphere. Lane is a bit bumpy to the building, but lovely and well tended gardens, grand entrance. Hotel was full that evening, but the rooms at the top were quiet enough - although the train noise can be intrusive it stops at night. The top single room I had was good value, being the...

So me and husband visited this past weekend for our 2 year wedding anniversary!! Was booked by family but can't fault there choice!! Road in is bumpy and was unsure about car park, but it was secure for us. We had a superior double room with sea view and room was lovely and spotlessly clean!! Staff were amazing and couldn't...

Ok. Staff are great, hotel or is this a hotel, or even a church goers place.....who knows?......not that I have any issues with that. The room for £89 was a disgrace, cupboard I guess, old and in need of sorting out. Managed to get another room, this time with a double bed, room small and facing a wall. So annoyed...

Stopped at the hotel for a couple of days. It's not the most modern hotel, however, it's in a great location and has lovely grounds attached to it. With the right investment this hotel has the potential to be excellent. Need to comment on the very good customer service provided, especially at the reception. I would certainly book another stay...

Lovely area and easy to get to but On our arrival drive way very bumpy and full of pot holes. Not much parking, only parking was in waste ground and a Long rough walk from waste ground car park to the hotel. The staff were fantastic very friendly and helpful. Too many bedrooms for a shared bathroom really needs ensuite's....

My boyfriend and I stayed here on our weekend trip to St Ives after finding a great deal on Booking.com so wasn't too sure what to expect. The roads leading to the hotel are extremely uneven and bumpy, but the hotel looked lovely when we pulled up. Slightly old fashioned interior but lovely all the same. Our room was difficult...

Themed hotels are a popular attraction, yet these are usually planned and decorated as such. Not only did we have to suffer bedroom, bathroom and television etc styled from over 30 years ago, this also appears to be the last time any cleaning or maintenance had been done. 2 stars for the comedy anecdotes.
