We booked via booking.com and we were not disappointed. We had room 20 which was probably the smallest of the rooms but for £55 with breakfast we were more than happy. The room looked to be newly decorated with new carpet and lovely shower. The room over looked the outside seating area which I imagine would be noisy in the...

My wife and I stayed at the Western for one night mid December. Check in was smooth and we were quickly shown to our room. Although on the small side it was clean and modern with ( what turned out to be) a powerful shower. There was a decent hospitality tray with tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits provided. The bed...

This Hotel was great, clean with a comfy bed (that's all you need for an overnight stay). Very friendly on arrival and showed to your room. Breakfast was fab with everything you need and the chef was very friendly and welcomed you on arrival. There is no parking with this hotel but staff directed us to the nearest car park....

This was our fourth visit to this wonderful hotel. It's a small hotel but that comes with VERY personal service. Clean rooms, with en-suite. Situated in the center of St Ives, it is a very friendly environment with a wonderful breakfast room...with great vegetarian breakfasts offered! As artists, we like to visit St Ives to soak up the atmosphere and...

What's not to like - spotlessly clean modern room with comfy bed, ensuite bathroom. Breakfast great, staff friendly. Don't understand the negative reviews. Just one improvement to mention - no expel air fan in bathroom so room very warm After showering. Would recommend 😀

This was our base for a nearby wedding and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. The room was perfectly adequate with very comfy bed, very good shower and pleasantly warm. The full breakfast was extremely good and served by very pleasant waiting staff. The hotel is a tad tired in places (however decorators were working there... so that looks...

this is a rambling old hotel with small rooms, but nevertheless a pleasant stay. Excellent full English breakfast and reasonable rates close to the harbour. We spent very little time in our room which was our plan.

Nice old fashioned hotel. Friendly staff. Clean and comfy room. Walls are a little thin but then it is an old building. Great location in the centre of St Ives. Recommend the Station car park for long stay. Probably the best hotel breakfast I have had and a good vege option if required.

Booked for two nights, arrived at lunch time, there was no one on reception but they have a phone which was answered straight away. Someone came to check us in & while my husband parked the car I was helped up to our room & the young girl carried our very heavy bag. The room was clean & certainly worth...

This hotel is in a great location. It is very central, clisecto the harbour , many bars and restaurants and the main bus stop. They serve an excellent breakfast and have helpful friendly staff - what more could you want?
