Lovely hosts, comfortable bed, lots of hot water. Dined at the B&B and very satisfied with quality of food. Hot bkft delicious! Would stay again if in the area. Was not disappointed. Easy access to the Costal Walk leading to Tintagel Castle ruins. Great scenery of the rugged Atlantic coast!

We had read varying reviews of this hotel before booking (some people are never satisfied!) However, my wife and I had found everything to our satisfaction. We had a first floor room (12) to the rear of the hotel which had views over the gardens and with a sea view too. We were lucky with the weather and had lovely...

I have fallen in love with the Bossiney house hotel and look forward to returning next summer! Mike & Mary were fabulous hosts and the hotel itself was perfect for what we wanted. The dining room was set out well with amble space and a good choice at breakfast. The children spent quite some time in the garden on the...

Our room (4) was described as having an en-suite but it turned out to be an old sink attached to the wall in the bedroom and a partitioned area in which there was a WC and a very small shower cubicle containing a very dated Mira shower that either tried to scald or freeze you. The so called en suite...

The B&B itself is quite affordable and comfortable, with good size beds and bathrooms. The rooms are a bit small, but unless staying for a log time that won't really matter. The proprietors also run the attached bar and restaurant, and it is quite good, with affordable rates.

We found the Bossiney House Hotel to be little more than adequate. It has a truly Cornish feel to it, old style single sash windows that needed wedging to prevent a very annoying rattle most of the stay. The decor is clean and tidy but feels dated that said it's in keeping with the style of the hotel. The Family...

Two words "Fawlty Towers" It isn't funny though. I have never slept in a hotel room with this amount of damp, dust and mould. A TV that only worked after my fiance and I bought new batteries for the remote. The tea cups we had to clean before using them and had to buy milk to add to the tea....

Booked in to Bossiney Hotel and originally given twin room, when arrived had been 'upgraded' to Garden Room 21, taken through back door into room and given key. Straight away strong smell of damp, cobwebs around the room. Due to smell I started to investigate to find mold on curtains, looked like it had been there for a long time!!...

stayed here for one night en-route to St Ives. Very friendly welcome by the proprietor our room was quite small, but quite clean with slightly dated but functional furniture, bedding and towels of nice feel and quality. Breakfast was from a buffet, including the cooked full english items, nice to be able to select your own items, and quite good...
