Lovely pub, friendly staff. Did not eat here, however excellent value nd the couple by us who ate said it was excellent. Right in the main town, easy parking. Value lunch time menu. Various music nights through the week

We stayed here for a week and it was a great base for exploring the North Cornish coast. The staff and owners were really friendly and helpful, the room, although smallish, was very clean and comfortable, and the food was a revelation! The moules and trio of Cornish fish were some of the best we've ever had! Live music on...

To Tintagel to be disappointed by a mediocre, overpriced "castle", but before that four of us had lunch in this place simply for the fact they claimed to be dog friendly (we had three canine buddies with us). The place is full of of suits of armour and swords which is an intriguing backdrop for lunch but, hey ho. You...

The receptionist was very helpful and pleasant despite struggling to cope as understaffed. The roast however, was very amateur. The meat and yorkshire pudding were put on the table and then we sat and looked at it till the vegetables came several minutes later. The cauliflower looked as if it had been cooked several days ago while the broccoli was...

This small hotel is a great place to stay, or just eat, when visiting this part of Cornwall. The food is excellent and varied, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the room we stayed in was great, being very clean, airy and comfortable. Musical entertainment is provided on Saturday nights in the bar area, which itself leads in...

We went for Sunday lunch, they weren't busy, but very understaffed. The service was poor, the meat and potatoes came out then 10 minutes later the vegetables arrived, my Yorkshire pudding was burnt. The meals were overpriced for what they were, the staff didn't seem to be that bothered about the customers, and no we wouldn't go again.

I spent one night with my husband at the Tintagel Arms in August 2015. We had driven up from Newquay and I was worried about parking as Tintagel is a rather small village. Right next to the hotel is an alleyway that runs straight to the back of the hotel and provides parking for numerous cars. After grabbing our bags...

We had one night here after our drive down to Cornwall from Manchester and it was just what we needed, a nice village with plenty of pubs for a quality beer/nightcap. We only stayed one night as we are staying a night in 5 other places right round the coast. We were b&b only and the breakfast was great....you really...

We loved this hotel. It was cozy, clean, and very well located. We could easily walk to the castle . My favorite part would be the breakfast. Huge portions and top quality food. If I had a complaint at all it would be that the bar downstairs and street can be a bit loud on the weekends if you want...

Great Sunday roast all freshly cooked and cooked to perfection. The roast lamb was freshly carved served on roast potatoes, homemade stuffing and Yorkshire pudding served with broccoli, fine beans, carrots and cauliflower cheese all had a crisp crunch to them smothered in homemade gravy
