An excellent and interesting hotel. It is an ideal setting for tourists to explore the natural beauty of Cornwall. The food and wine menu's are excellent. Breakfast is extra , so make sure you have no surprises when checking out. My wife and I had dinner in the restaurant and the service was excellent. The view are astounding being right...

Until you see it in person you cannot comprehend how beautiful the Place is. The colors, the sculptures, the setting, it is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. As a bonus the hotel made our stay very pleasant.Room was very comfortable and clean, the building itself was very nice and all the staff was very kind.

After we read the reviews we thought we made a big mistake by booking to stay here. But found it was excellent, The staff were very polite and helpful. No matter what was asked of them. It was a bit dated. But that's what one would expect staying in a castle ! The artwork didn't appeal to us. But that...

A friend and I stayed here the middle of February . Position and views at the hotel were lovely. The foyer was a strange combination of photos of owners, dried flowers in pots and overwhelming pictures and information of co-owner /artist Ted Stourton. No local maps giving walk information or leaflets about places of interest locally. Our room had a...

The view was amazing from my single room and the food in the castle was spot on....also the staff and owners were very welcoming and warming and the art gallery tour was brilliant. Also the merlin cave was good to look at.

The hotel itself has such a breathtaking location, it really is very special & the views were simply incredible. 5/5 for that but unfortunately it went downhill rapidly. Upon arrival, the entrance was quite messy & not a great first impression as it was a mix of artwork from Ted Stourton (co-owner), 'Thank You' notes from previous guests (must have...

The location of this hotel is spectacular. It looks magnificent as you drive up and there are fantastic views out to sea and over to the castle ruins from the windows in the bedroom, dining room and communal area. The castle itself is a little rustic and ragged in places but it is not offensive and goes with the age...

Wonderful location with beautiful walks and views apart from the eye sore of the hotel itself. The pictures online are not a true representation of the hotel. On arrival the first thing we said was "if a council estate had a castle this would be it". It's such a shame because it has so much potential! When entering the reception...

The place is run/owned /managed by Scientologists. I visited once and will never return. The locals feel it is a blemish on the community...The building, rooms and interiors are not clean and smell. The surrounding grounds are not well maintained, dirty with cigarette buts and ashes littering. The tall building loom over the ruins of Tintagel castle. Perhaps if there was...

Very grand, booked a triple room with sea view, was very impressed - the room was the size of my first flat! Sea views were awesome from each window. Beds were very comfortable and the room was warm. Room was a little tired looking, but with a view like that who cares! The breakfast was hearty and the evening meal...
