I celebrated Father's day weekend here with my children and we have had a lovely time. The hotel is a unique building with an unexpected feeling of homeliness for such a large building. The staff are very nice, friendly, helpful people and the owner Ted let us take his dogs out for walks around the grounds. My kids loved spending...

We stayed here for 2 nights. Upon arrival they had upgraded us to a 4 poster room with Atlantic views towards Tintagel Castle. The room was huge, clean, warm and the bed was very comfortable. Yes, the room had a pod bathroom in it but we knew that when we booked. I managed to wash my long hair during my...

This Hotel was very nicely location, with beautiful views. Unfortunately, like most hotels in England, it is quite old fashioned and weirdly designed. The bathroom was like a mobile construction site toilet which was HORRIBLE. The room itself had great views but again, it was old and felt dirty and unfinished. The restaurant though was great. The food was amazing.

But that is where the wonderful stopped and the wonder began. Why are all the walls filled with these modern, abstract paintings? Why were all these American movie stars photos hanging in the entry way? Why was the food so very bad? And why wasn't I asked about the entire piece of fish I lleft on my plate? Why are...

I had read several reviews on this hotel and really thought hard about whether or not to book it, but location wise it ticked all of the boxes and overall we enjoyed our stay. Because of the reviews on TripAdvisor, I decided not to stay in one of the cheaper rooms and so opted for a mid-priced luxurious room overlooking...

We stayed here for a night at the beginning of our honeymoon and the hotel treated us very well. The room was clean, quiet, spacious and pleasantly decorated (I think the best paintings in the whole hotel were in our room!), there was a fantastic view of the sea and Tintagel castle itself and the bathroom was spotless and modern....
