We stayed in a cottage for a week not far from here and visited a few times during our stay. It's in an amazing location, has a great menu and we had some lovely meals. The staff are very welcoming (even wet walkers!) and were very helpful during our visits.

Thanks for visiting us at the Port William. We are always pleased to get fed back so we can continue to improve the experience at the Port William. I have passed your comments on to the kitchen in regards to the chips and the mash potato. You are correct in stating that we have unfortunately lost our car park and...

We had a fabulous Sunday roast in this pub on Sunday 13th Dec. There was plenty of food, cooked to a good standard and very tasty. The atmosphere was very festive and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Due to rock landslide problems ( out of pub's control ),the car parking area is greatly restricted. However to partition the available spaces by means of a chain at knee height is an accident waiting to happen ! The thought of elderly customers having to negotiate this hazard on a dark night after a few drinks beggers belief !! Totally unnecessary...

So we escaped pre-Christmas to this little gem for two nights. The location is incredible, the food good and hearty and the fire and the staff give you a truly warm welcome! The staff could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable and we both left recharged! Thanks all for a fab break!
