We stayed at the Wootons for one night. We found our room to be clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the standard of food we had for our evening meal. The banter in the bar was good fun and entertaining from some of the locals. The wifi connection was poor.

We have holidayed in Tintagel for the last two years and usually pick a place to stay at random. Next year we will definitely staying here. We popped in for a drink to kill a hour before our table was ready across the road. We got speaking to the lady behind the bar (I think she was called Jess) and...

Its been a few years since we visited last and it looks like nothing has changed. Its dated and run down and the staff are not exactly welcoming. Everywhere you go there are hand-written signs telling you what you cant do. Its depressing and unfriendly and seems to be frequented by the local youths who simply get drunk at the...

We had a lovely dinner here with three of us. The food was lovely and the service was good! We also had a bottle of wine between us which was reasonably priced. We sat indoors but had lovely views from the window which was nice. We went on a weeknight at about 7.30 so it wasn't busy at all. The...

We had room 6 which was very clean and fully stocked with tea/coffee/hot choc plus shampoo etc in the bathroom. Only downside to the room was that the double glazing needs replacing as you couldn't see out. Breakfast was great and plentiful and the staff were welcoming and very helpful. We didn't eat there in the evening so cannot comment...

Fantastic welcome, homely atmosphere. Superb views. Decent shower for tall people like me, easy to use ideal heat. The use of iron situated on the top of stairs is a great idea. Cosy & roomy bar with spacious dining area set aside. Excellent all round compliments

I stayed here with my son when we where working at Davidstow. We found the room, staff and ambiance of the place great. I can recommend for any occasion. I think the views are outstanding and the village is superb. We never ate here but the restaurant look good with its view of the castle.

Stayed here whilst on business, I am working in Cornwall this summer and planned to stay in Tintagel. The Wootons is a nice hotel, very close to the castle and in the centre of Tintagel- Close to bars and shops. The bar staff are very friendly and hotel rooms where always clean. If your visiting Tintagel I'd recommend this hotel

We had a 3 day break here. Friendly welcoming staff. Views from our room excellent although double glazing needs replacing as it's not clear. Rooms are tired and need upgrading but clean and well equipped. Food - excellent. The hotel is good value for the cost. It is well placed for walking, local shops, and bus stops.
