The hotel itself it situated on the outskirts of Exeter, clean and tidy with comfortable rooms. The shower room was a little small, but as a single traveler this didnt cause any problems. My room overlooked the main road, despite this, there was very little road noise an a sound nights sleep was had. less than 100 yards away was...

Thats was first time I visit UK. The Clock Tower Hotel was a family business hotel. The reception was either the old mother or her son. Both of them are friendly. The room was big and clean. The location was about a 10 minutes walk to the central shopping . And was 20 minutes walk to the University Of Exeter....

Very nice type of hotel. Beautiful location next to the old roundabout and the klocktower. Receptionist was very kind. Rooms are small but very clean , it gave me a welcoming feeling. Unfortunately you have to pay a huge amount of parking money.

The welcome was warm and Gary on the front desk raced upstairs with a heater when I reported my room to be freezing cold. However the TV had really dodgy reception on all but one channel and the shower didn't work properly . More unsettling was the state of the bedlinen. The duvet looked grubby and the tired blue sheets...

Minute rooms, bathroom has a sink so small you wouldn't keep a goldfish in.TV was the smallest I've seen in a hotel and wifi seemed in and out. Room was like a suana even with the radiator off. Walls were thin enough to hear a conversation one side and snori g the other. Double glazing did not keep out traffic...

Handy for City Centre but don't think we will use again. Noise from young females at 3 am going on for hours causing poor nights sleep. Surely you would check what large groups of youngsters block booking are in the area for, work or someone's 21st as this was, or hen and stag parties and then steer clear of them...

We arrived late but the checkin at ten wasn't a problem; warm and friendly welcome. The rooms are small, but clean und well furnitured, bathroom, tv and tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast is served both ways (british and continental); the breakfast room looks like an old british living room, quite stylish, especially the big sofa for relaxing after meal with...

Stayed in small single room which was clean, quiet and equipped with all the basics. Faulty bulb in bedside lamp was fixed immediately and cheerfully. Fresh, home cooked breakfast was a refreshing change from the usual buffet arrangement in chain hotels. Great location, a few minutes from central station and city centre. Would definitely return.

I stayed in room 32 recently. It's built into the roof space and has a number of flights of stairs to get to it. The room's door has a self-closer on it. Due to the size of the room a brick-sized hole has had to be cut out of the wall to accommodate the closer when the door is opened!...
