We stayed at this Guest House in early July. Mike and Jackie made us feel very welcome. We had a beautiful room with lots of space and the breakfast was amazing in the gorgeous dining room. Was walking distance to the town. It is under renovations but that didn't effect us at all. Would stay here again if we have...

Having read the previous reviews I was a little skeptical about staying at the Edwardian, but we were absolutely delighted to find that our room was huge, spotlessly clean (the towels smelt AMAZING!) and we had a very warm welcome. We have previously stated at the Mercure hotel which is just down the road but we will certainly be staying...

Mike and Jackie were very welcoming. Mike not only is remodeling sections of the hotel, but is also a cheery server for breakfast. We had plenty of choices for breakfast that included the best fried mushrooms I've had on the entire trip through Great Britain. The remodeling did not affect our stay in the slightest. Jackie was very helpful in...

We stayed here for an over night convenient stay whilst in Exeter. We had no idea that it was being re furbished. It was expensive for what the standard of room was! Shower was scolding hot!Breakfast was from Aldi.. Sausages not quality. I would pay £98.00 to stay in a hotel. Use your money in a better way. Would not...

I went to Exeter to visit friends two weeks ago and stayed at The Edwardian for 3 nights. It's very close to the city centre. I've enjoyed their hospitality and warmth. Very good breakfast. The place is currently undergoing remodeling. So hopefully, next time when I stay there again, it would look nicer.

Despite mentioning when booking that we were attending our daughter's early morning graduation, the Edwardian was unable to provide us with any breakfast early enough for us to attend the ceremony. We didn't necessarily expect a full English at 7.30 am, but surely milk and fruit juice could have been put in a mini fridge overnight? The owner commented that...

I had read previous reviews so was a bit concerned, and yes the hotel is under refurbishment and the website looks different, but Mike was so welcoming that I was completely won over. The room was dated but clean and has everything you need for a weekend away. My only negative point would be that the curtains were very thin...

I've just read the previous review, and am quiet annoyed! My partner and I have just had a great weekend at the Edwardian, we were warmly welcomed by Jackie and shown where to park. Our room was at the very top of the house and not too large, but adequate. Mike commented this morning that we didn't have the best...

The pictures online are completely misleading. The place was a construction zone complete with dust and banging hammers. Our room wasn't ready in the late afternoon so we sat and waited a long time in the cramped dining area since there was no sitting are to relax in. I think we were put in the time-out room because the room...

My daughter & I checked into The Edwardian today. Construction is well under way, as we were greeted by tools, noise & dust. Our room, with a private view of the trash cans, was so tiny we couldn't move. There was 1 chair, but no room to sit in it. There is a dining room, but no seating anywhere else...
