Stayed here for a night. Room was modern and had everything we needed. Car parking was free and right next to room. Checking in was easy. Lovely pub with a nice outside to it. Thank you blue ball inn.

We stayed here for 3 nights in September 2016. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only downside is that the whole place including the dining and bar areas looked tired and in need of refurbishment. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food was very good. This will be our go to place in the future when visiting family in Exeter.

What a top couple of days. Superbly looked after by all of the staff as we stayed for the Exeter v Bristol match. Excellent atmosphere and superb food and ale. Great facilities for pre and post match food/drink or a good stop if passing through. Great access to J30 of the M5.

We booked the Blue Ball Inn as a pit stop on our way to Cornwall where the accommodation is next door to the restaurant. Lovely little find. Staff very friendly. Varied menu (large portions). Breakfast in the morning - separate cost . Overall very comfortable stay. Thank you. Julie and Ali

Went here for a working lunch with some friends, and had a lovely starter of prawns and crab on ciabatta. A friend had the soup and it came with a huge chunk of lovely homemade bread (she shared it with us) and very large bowl of soup. Only downside was it was pretty cold in the area we sat in,...

I can only review the restaurant as we weren't staying at the Inn. I was expecting typical 'pub food' but was really surprised. We had fish cakes which I know were purchased from a local farm shop which sells locally caught fish, vegetables are also purchased from a local farm shop, together with other food. Our meal was really good...

We arrived late afternon and were directed to our room to find it had not been serviced after the previous guests. We had to complain to get the room serviced but were given complimentary drinks in the bar while we waited. We then had to complain that the central heating did not work at all and were given an electric...

This was a one night stay. We didn't take breakfast as we were leaving early. The staff were helpful, friendly, welcoming and efficient. The room was basic but clean with en suite, clean towels, TV, kettle etc. all as would be expected. Access to rooms is direct from car park, so noise from people arriving and leaving, and the road...

We met two friends here for lunch and mainly chose it on ease of access from the motorway and not wanting to go to a 'fast food chain'. It was busy, vibrant and good. The menu is varied, food arrived quite quickly and was good. We shared a camembert starter, then went on to a Steak pie which was good,...

We arrived last night at around 7:30pm, the pub and restaurant was fairly busy and the atmosphere and ambiance was relaxed. Me and my partner went to the bar and asked if there was a table for two. The young lady on shift that day said yes please follow me and sat us down at a very pleasant table which...
