Stayed for 2 nights on business. This is a nice hotel in the centre of Exeter and good location. Room was good very comfortable, only niggle it has an link door, to the room next door right next to the bed, so could hear the room next doors TV, when they were going to the toilet. Food very good both...

The location was great for us. We travelled by train and the hotel is directly opposite the central train station. The room was large, the bed very comfortable and there was a decent hot shower. Staff at Reception were very helpful. The hotel is maintained in very good style. It is worth staying just to feel the elegance of the...

There's nothing wrong with the hotel itself - in fact it's rather nice - the shared areas and reception are spacious and pleasant, with a fairly grand décor that is in-keeping with the building. Check in staff were pleasant, though the same background track seemed to be playing whenever I went there throughout my two night stay - I wonder...

Dear Gina B Although it was pleaseing to see you enjoyed the hotel and have noted our stunning public areas that reflect the style of the building, i was disappointed to hear your comments on the room as this is certainly not the standard we aim for. Being a Victorian building many of our rooms are different shapes and sizes...

We stayed here for one night on business. The hotel is in a fab location with some interesting nearby shops and good restaurants. The building itself is old and charming, although this does mean some creaky floorboards in the night! Loved the stained glass window. Breakfast was good quality and 12pm checkout was very useful. All in all, a lovely...

It was impeccably clean, softly furnished and complete with all the necessities. The room service was also of very high quality. The dinner and breakfast were both fantastic and quickly...

Have stayed in this hotel several times now and can say that it is an ideal location. Depending on which side of the road the room faces, it can get very noisy at night as it is on one of the main road to town. The rooms on the loft (conversion) are not easy to get to if you have...

Dear tengtannd Thanks for taking time to provide feedback on your visits to the Hotel. Being a city centre Hotel we are right in the middle of the city and this proximity close to the train station, restaurants and bars comes with the additional noise factors of people passing by. We do have double glazing on windows facing the street...
