Staff and management at the hotel were extremely courteous, helpful and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Slight issue with heating in the room, we called reception and were offered help immediately with this, and all was well. I had read some negative reviews on here, but more than happy to report only positive feedback from our stay, will...

My Husband and I booked for tonight's special meal and accommodation deal. We called in yesterday to check the arrangements and were told all was in order. We checked in about mid afternoon and started our relaxation. We went down to dinner at 19:00 and were advised at this time that most of the special dinner that we had been...

Where to start?!?! This wasn't the romantic valentine's evening that was intended for our first visit to the hotel Du vin in Exeter. A bit dubious as to whether this would be an overpriced valentine's day gimmick turned out to be exactly that. To start with, the shambles of the waiters within the first 20 minutes was swept under the...

A group from work visited for breakfast only as a celebration for a team member. We were asked to pre-order our breakfasts which seemed odd as I wouldn't ever expect to pre-order breakfast if I was staying at a hotel, however do appreciate that as we were not overnight guests the process may be different. People were still eating food...

We stayed for one night at the Hotel du Vin in Exeter. The room was described as a junior suite, this was only because it has a sofa in the room. it was rather small but the bed which was a superking was spotlessly clean and comfortable with very good quality bedding. The shower was good but attention needs to...

Just stayed for two nights for a babymoon. We went for the most basic room and we were very pleasantly surprised - big, clean room facing back of hotel and nice and quiet. Couple of small gripes about room - the blinds are awful. They take an age to pull up/down and don't fit the window so light comes through....

A quiet Tuesday lunch to celebrate my birthday. Very good service Although we had phoned to order in advance, there was no record of that in the restaurant. Nevertheless an excellent bistro style meal. We wanted a quiet table and that was provided.

Visited on a special offer of £39 for two courses for two, and a bottle of wine. The food was of a very good standard, well cooked and presented well. The staff very attentive,so in all a very good experience, will certainly be visiting again.

Mixed feelings about my spa day. Reception team very friendly on arrival who quickly and efficient pointed myself and my friend in the right direction. Got changed and went to enjoy the pool facilities before our treatments. Once we got changed, we went to enter the pool to find it was locked. Had to walk over to the spa reception...

Stylish building, which was once an eye infirmary. Tastefully refurbished keeping the historic feel. Quality hotel just a stones throw from the city centre, dining rooms open to the public. Extensive menu, including meal deals, Sunday lunches, or afternoon cream teas etc. Nice for that special occasion, There is a garden at the rear, which makes it hard to believe...
