We have just returned home from a two night break. We stayed in The Bay Room, which like the rest of the hotel is tastefully decorated, with everything that you could want. My only niggle, is that the bed was rock hard, only managed 2 hours sleep last night, and have quite sore hips now. Breakfast was lovely with a...

I booked this as a surprise weekend away for our 25th wedding anniversary. I booked one of the conservatory rooms as it had extra space plus a balcony. Smoking was not allowed on the balcony!!! The conservatory had 2 dining chairs and a little table so not at all comfortable to sit in for long. The bed has to be...

Friendly hosts, happy to answer any questions you may have, a very clean hotel gives you a good nights sleep, breakfast - you couldnt ask for more, kept me full till about 2-3pm. Had an honesty bar which was good as Lynmouth goes to bed very early.

My husband and I have just enjoyed a wonderful 5 night break at Shelleys in Lynmouth. We booked a conservatory room with views over Lynmouth and were not disappointed. The decor throughout the hotel was lovely and the room spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were exceptional, freshly cooked to order and with a wonderful choice available. Richard and Jane are really welcoming...

This was our third visit to Shelley's and again we were delighted by the welcome and service provided by Richard and Jane. We have stayed in three different rooms on each visit and found each one to be of a high standard and very comfortable. The hotel is tastefully decorated in a period style. We particularly liked the lounge which...

We were made to feel very welcome by Richard and Jane who were attentive without being intrusive. Really good breakfast with a good range of options. Lynmouth itself is...

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Shelley’s. We stayed for two nights in two different rooms, both rooms were exceptional, very nice and clean, and both had excellent views of Lynmouth. The full english breakfasts cooked to order were excellent, and set you up for a good long walk in a very beautiful part of the country....
