Unfortunately we only stayed one night, wished it had been longer to enjoy this lovely bed and breakfast. Our room was lovely overlooking town and a pleasant, comfortable place to relax after a busy day walking. There was also a lounge which you could use in addition to the delightful breakfast room where Brian served up a wonderful quality breakfast....

We stayed at South View for two nights recently. We received a warm welcome and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fab and a generous size. My 4 year old daughter was made to feel very welcome, with a booster seat prepared for her and her own cutlery. Thoughtful attention to detail. She was also made welcome...

A really lovely, homely and welcoming B&B. The owner was very friendly. Most important for us is that it's also doggie friendly! Breakfast was delicious, with a nice choice of food on offer. The room and communal areas were spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. Our room had a lovely bay window. It's also very quiet and ideally located for visiting...

We spent 6 nights at this delightful b and b. We were somewhat worried as our daughter was teething and this was disrupting her sleep at night and we didn't want to disturb the owners or the other guests... The room we had booked was the " San Suite " which proved to be perfect for us : it had...

Two night stay here. Victorian property, very close to restaurants, path/cliff funicular to Lynmouth and lots of walks. New owners, very helpful and friendly. Our room was on first floor at front of house, bright overlooking the rooftops of town. Adjoining single room, which we didn't use. Small bathroom with toiletries. Comfortable bed. Room not made up during our stay....

From the minute we arrived Bryan was a very pleasant and helpful host, our room was on the small side but made up for it in the cleanliness and facilities, the bed was very comfy with lovely bedding, it was a great to have bath sheets and also shampoo, conditioner and shower gel available. Good quality breakfast; friendly owner but: Room "Shoreline" is a very small room; tiny bath (shower and only hand wash basin + toilet in estimated less than 2 square meters) Parking restricted on road; Room was not made during 2 night's stay Property did not meet the expectations which we had because of the high ratings

From booking in to checking out, our hosts couldn't have been more helpful. Our room was comfortable and we slept well; which speaks volumes for the comfort of the bed. Some excellent walks suggested by our hosts, which proved to be very scenic and enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again when in Lynton and thoroughly recommend this B&B.

Room had everything we needed in it and lots of character on top. Lovely people who we got to know well who provided great service and personal recommendations of the surrounding attractions. Wonderful breakfasts made to order and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely stay here again soon!
