Lovely large room with everything we could ever need, Just a little out dated but wonderful friendly staff! We only stayed one night but found the room very comfortable, nice big bathroom and bed and the continental breakfast was really good, great choice and was offered a cooked breakfast if ordered the night before. We had a lovely time and...

Had to book in at the bar, but, they were ready for us. Had a very filling Sunday lunch before going to our room. As they are refurbishing the hotel we were upgraded to a suite with enormous and very comfortable 4 poster bed,. The furniture was functional. We actually had two televisions which were both quite small, but as...

We ate at The Crown Hotel two nights running, we were so impressed after the first meal that we returned to try something else off the menu. The place is clean and tidy, tables and floor all spotless, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The first night we both ordered the burger which was huge and came with chips...

The hotel is a pub/hotel set in the lower part of the village. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The room I had was noisy as next to the fire door for a number of rooms. The water in the shower was a good temperature but had no pressure. Furniture and decor is standard. The breakfast was continental although was...

Dear oh dear where to begin. The room was the worst I have stayed in EVER and I have travelled all over the world. The stink of damp hit you as soon as you walked in, the wallpaper was coming away from the wall, none of the old and tired furniture matched, the tiny, A4 paper sized TV was fixed...

Stayed here with my daughters recently. When we arrived we could not find a reception so went up to the bar to check in. Staff were very friendly and we got our keys. The room itself was very clean but quite tired. Mismatched old furniture and wallpaper peeling off. Beautiful four poster bed and window seats were a great plus...

Ate in The Crown twice. Both meals were tasty, huge portions and good vale all served with a smile. Proper pub food, good selection of beers on tap. A roaring fire, dog friendly and some interesting wall art! Lovely village local.

Stayed overnight at short notice, booked via an agent. Arrived late but were welcomed and fed although the restaurant had just closed. I had requested a room change by phone earlier (my mistake in booking). The message hadn't been picked up (my only slight crticism), none the less we were offered the change the moment I mentioned it and given...

Chose venue as we were meeting up with another couple also driving 3 hrs to meet us. Only downside is we called in at 2.20 on a very wet and cold day, and was told by the barman 'Check-in is 3.30', so we wandered to another pub to pass the time, a more friendly reception would have been appreciated. However...
