We have just got home from an amazing 4 nights at Rockvale. The first thing that struck us was how clean the house was! Absolutely spotless. Very homely and welcoming and Heather is a brilliant host who made us feel like family. The breakfasts were without fail the best we have ever had and Alwyn's evening meals were a luxury...

We stayed at Rockvale in September for the second time this year having previously visited regularly for a number of years. Alwyn and Heather gave us their usual warm welcome with tea and cakes. Our room was spotless, comfortable and quiet with a lovely view over Lynton. There is a good breakfast menu and a delicious choice of home cooked...

Thank you Alwen and Heather for providing the perfect place to finish our walk from the south coast. Lovely to find that our hosts were from very close to home but I am sure that the welcome would have been just as warm without that factor. I was in room 7 which may be small but, wow, what a view!...

The positives: - Lovely, spacious room which was nice, spotlessly clean and well decorated. - I'd chosen Room 2 which had french doors opening out on to a small balcony - this was lovely - Amazing...

Everyone talks about this lovely B&B, it's views, and gracious hosts, and it's all true! But I want to talk about it's delicious dinners. The ever changing nightly menu reflects locally produced/procured items, and is prepared wonderfully! One has a choice of a two, or three course fixed price meal at extremely reasonable prices. Having traveled the UK for over...

Quite by chance we found this delightful B&B on-line and were thrilled when we arrived. We had stunning views from our spacious light-filled attic room overlooking picturesque Lynton and cliffs going down to the ocean. Heather & Alwyn are a friendly efficient team providing superb breakfasts with fresh local ingredients including home made yoghurt and their own freshly laid eggs,...

We had a warm greeting and were looked after very well during our stay. There was a great selection for breakfast and both...
