This place was AMAZING! We couldn't fault anything! I asked Gregg when we got there if we could have some folding chairs for our balcony (the main reason I booked this room) and he said that he had literally just put them away for the season. It was quite chilly but we love star gazing! After explaining this he immediately got them for us while we were having our delicious, complimentary cream tea! Breakfast was wonderful They are a lovely couple and look after you so well. Highly recommend.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us at Lee House and for your great comments. Thank you also for booking direct with us rather than through a third party. We are glad you were able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy star gazing - it always amazes us how many stars are visible in the dark skies of Exmoor. We hope you will return to Lynton in the future and again choose to stay at Lee House. Very best wishes to you both Gregg and Jacqui

We had a bad experience with another property in Lynton, which meant we had to quickly find somewhere else to say, and what a gem we found. We called the Lee House and Jacqui answered the phone, thankfully saying they did have a room available for immediate occupancy. We were there within 10 mins and were made to feel very welcome from the start. Greg answered the door to us, booking us in and making us feel immediately calmer, at no time did we feel we were an imposition. Jacqui had said she had popped up to the room and turned the radiators on for us. The room was spacious, had a view overlooking the rear garden and the birds on the feeders. There was a sofa, ample tea and coffee and quality toiletries. The whole property was well decorated and very very clean. Breakfast was well prepared, nice and hot and well executed. Greg was attentive to our and other guest's needs without being overpowering at all. All in all Lee House was a brilliant find, Greg and Jacqui should be very proud of themselves. Having myself, been in the industry for over 17 years it was a real pleasure to stay somewhere so nice and complete.

Really loved our time at Lee House this week. The rooms were beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic, and the hospitality was faultless. Greg and Jacquie achieved the perfect balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. There was fresh milk and chilled water available, a lounge room for guests and a really friendly atmosphere. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Five stars! Thank you

We had a 3 day stay at Lee House that was a really lovely experience. The room was immaculate, the breakfast delicious, with a huge variety to choose from, along with homemade preserves. I would thoroughly recommend it. Would have loved to stay longer. Hayle, Cornwall
