We loved our stay at highcliffe while walking the coast path. Mike and Karen couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful (from hot tea and scones when we walked in cold and wet, to explaining the marine forecast to us when we were trying to figure out if the weather would stop us walking the next day). The view from...

We stayed here for Tracey's birthday and an escape. We booked based on reviews and it was way beyond our already high expectations. All the usual things you expect are there and without exception are all of a very high standard. I have never been to a cleaner room and so much attention to detail. Where have you been that...

I have nothing but praise for Karen and Mike. We stayed 3 nights and had a really relaxing stay. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable and the views are great. We particularly enjoyed Karen's cooking and eating breakfast looking out at the magnificent view. You are ideally placed to walk to the restaurants and pubs down the hill.

We stayed here for two nights on our mini moon and I have to say I was really impressed. Firstly it started before our stay when Karen and mike sent an email of places to eat and directions, such a lovely personal touch. We arrived at the b&b and were immediately greeted by Karen who congratulated on our wedding straight...

Have just spent one night here at what I can honestly say must be the most amazing B&B I have ever stayed in. Our room was Kipscombe on the second floor. The view from this room is just stunning, the room beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and kept us going all day on our house...

The room was very tastefully decorated and very comfortable , the views from our window to die for. Breakfast cooked just simply marvellously. If there was a negative...

We booked the Highcliffe as a base for a first visit to Exmoor: it could not have been better. The house is easily visible above Lynton and the directions provided by the staff were excellent (once we located the B3234 - almost better to just go to Lynton and start from there). The last climb is pretty vertical and the...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Highcliffe House. We did wonder where we were going when we drove up the hill but it is worth it as the views are stunning. We were welcomed by Mike and Karen, shown to the room and offered a cream tea. We stayed in Mrytleberry which was just as it...

I fear by writing this review I will be doomed to never get a reservation here because it was by far the most comfortable, best linens and superb food in the area. Once you stay here every other b&b seems ordinary. Karen and Mike are delightful, warm and welcoming. The views from the room are spectacular. At the end of...

My husband and I have just come back from a two night stay at the highcliff house, Lynton.. From the moment you turn up the steep little road you know it's leading to something special. The house itself and views are breathtaking, inside it is spotless, comfortable and very welcoming..the owner mike greeted us, showed us around and then when...
