We stayed in the Watersmeet suite which was clean and spacious with amazing views over the sea and out to Countisbury hill. All the staff were really helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. We would certainly book to stay here again.
The staff were attentive and competent. A great location overlooking the Bristol Channel and, via the garden, right next to the top station of the Lynton Cliff Railway. There is off street, private parking which requires negotiating a tight U bend but it’s not too...More
Very hospitable welcome and service. Made us an early breakfast and a late dinner so very flexible. Good sized room, all mod cons. Grounds looking a bit tired. Very handy for the funicular down to Lynmouth
There is absolutely no criticism of the staff or the view from this location, although perhaps the website might give a clue about how steep the whole area is for less mobile guests? Its not impossible, but equally not that easy to get to and...More

I believe all rooms have one large bed, not twins. I do not remember seeing a lift and do not think there is one. The flights of stairs are rather long and steep if one is in poor health. Russ and Kerinda are very helpful and will carry your bags and odd bits and pieces up and down the stairs for you, but you will still need to navigate stairs on your own.
