Travellers' Choice
Built in the 1860s, this beautiful Victorian gentlemen's residence is set high up above the lovely town of Lynton, in Exmoor. With views over the sea, on a clear day you can see the Welsh coast! Set in an acre of terraced gardens, you can sit outside for tea and cake or a cold drink from our licensed bar. Stay in and enjoy our wine and local ales! Have a bar snack or walk down the short path into the village to eat in one of the many eateries. We have our own car park. Choose from one of our 8 bedrooms, all with sea views. 2 Kings en-suite, 2 Doubles en-suite, 1 twin/SKing en-suite, 1 single ensuite and 2 single with private facilities. Our buffet breakfast is a fresh fruit salad, fresh croissants, yogurts, cereals some homemade goodies and juices, then you can choose from the extensive hot menu. There is so much to do in this beautiful area and a lot of history. We are just above the South West Coast Path. Look forward to welcoming you. AA 4 star Silver rating

Walking the swcp this was the 3rd b&b on our journey. From booking back in July we had a sea view king-sized bed en suite We were kindly advised to book our evening meals because of less tables in pubs at the time. Everything was perfect in hotel. Would stay here at the drop of a hat. From the room to the breakfast every thing wonderful. One draw back for some people but not us is it is on a hill, it has four car park spaces. There is a large car park below, accessible from garden steps.

We had a lovely stay at Sinai house, from a warm welcome with tea and cake on arrival .Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely sea view. Breakfast was 10/10 plenty of choice and quick at serving. The honesty bar is a reallygood idea, after doing a 12mile walk every day , refreshments were very much needed. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

We had a large, comfortable room with a fabulous sea view. There was a wide choice of freshly made breakfasts that were delicious. We ordered a pack lunch one day which was also delicious. The location is great for Valley of Rocks and Lynmouth. There are lots of lovely local restaurants and taxis are very efficient and reasonable. The owners, Alison and Victor, are super friendly and extremely helpful without being intrusive. We enjoyed a fabulous few days and felt well rested. Would highly recommend this lovely hotel.
