I needed a single room for one night in Plymouth, and Laterooms came up with a decent price for this place. Nice to get a text from the owners after booking to confirm details. Warm welcome, clean room, quiet, excellent shower, and excellent breakfast.Nice to have a small, silent refrigerator in the room. I slept well after a very tiring... More

I must say thay our stay at the Barbican Reach was most delightful. Our hosts' Rob and Sue were so obliging. Rob's specially prepard original breakfast treats were great, typically British with a naval origin. The location of this guest house is in perfect walking distance from he historical section of town. We stayed 3 nights and had a most... More

What a gem of a find, stayed two nights in August. Very clean and well run B&B, the owners are very friendly and the accommodation is of a high standard, parking is on the road outside the B&B but don't pay on the meter as the owners have passes that allow you to park each day for £2 as opposed... Stayed here for 2 nights with friends on a weekend break. Met by Sue at the door who quickly sorted the on road parking for us. They showed us to our rooms. Ensured all was well and told us if we needed anything just to let them know. They were very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are lovely, spacious and... More

I would not hesitate to book this guest house again! My partner and I were greeted with a warm welcome and were shown to our cosy, clean room on the ground floor. Nothing was too much trouble, and the key system was explained and very straightforward to get your head around. The room was absolutely spotless and the bed was... More

Ron and Sue were the perfect hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast really good with plenty of choice. Free WiFi, and flat screen TV with freeview. The little touches did it for me, matching coffee mugs with a local thieme in the room, lighthouse on the bathroom pull cord and lots more. Thank you.

From the text en route to confirm arrival it was a delight dealing with Sue and Rob the force behind Barbican Reach. The welcoming smile from them both on arrival, the super clean room (small double) but we were advised of this on booking. But it was absolutely fine. With en suite tea and coffee and fresh milk if preferred... More
