We chose this hotel because of the positive review from Trip Advisor. Sure enough, it was just a wonderful experience. The room was so clean and the staff was so helpful and nice. So glad we chose this place. It was also a very convenient place and near the water. Just beautiful scenery a few steps away!

I left it rather late to book a couple of nights in Plymouth. Although the Grosvenor was charging a bit more than I really wanted to pay, I thought I'd take a chance. The hotel is on an elegant terrace on The Hoe. Check-in was swift and friendly, but there were several flights of stairs to my room. For a...

Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review of your stay. It was pleasing to read that on the whole you appeared to have had an enjoyable stay with us. Stairs will always be our major frustration. You certainly aren't the first and most definitely won't be the last to mention them - these old buildings were definitely...

That's what I thought of the staff, in my opinion they can make or break a hotel and here they make your stay. The people on reception on arrival and departure could not have been more helpful or friendlier if they tried! The rooms are spotless and the cleanliness of the bathroom a credit. Overall very comfortable. Free Wi-fi offered...

Spent one night at the hotel in a spotlessly clean room with a sparkling en suite shower. Had a great breakfast which was part of the price. The staff were polite and attentive. I would book again if ever I was staying in the area.

Stayed here for one night and it is a very convenient and comfortable place to stay. We were given a warm welcome, although we were two hours early for booking in. Luckily our room was ready so we were able to leave our luggage and head out. This hotel is in a quiet street leading directly onto The Hoe. It...

Many thanks for the very informative and positive review. We've been at the Grosvenor for nearly 7 years now and you're quite right that a lot of hard work from a lot of people has gone into transforming and improving the hotel from the dated 'chintzy' building that we took over in 2008, to where it is today. It has...
