This boutique hotel is perfectly situated on the edge of The Hoe - which is a beautiful seaside park and promenade. It is also a 10 minute walk to the Barbican - an historic district filled with lovely restaurants & shops. We went in December, the off season, but were still able to enjoy the magnificent views, promenade, and restaurants....

I am writing this review in response to an e-mail request from the management. I booked by phone directly to the manager having viewed the hotel website. I was offered a number of appealing room options and I asked for the best one available. Unfortunately the booking was not automatically confirmed but it was easy to sort out by e-mail....

Hello DevonThomas Thank you for reviewing us. With regards to your booking. If you recall on the telephone conversation we advised you that the hotel had a high level of bookings and explained the available rooms to you, including the fact that all the refurbished rooms were already booked. In that discussion it was decided that room 14 with the...

Stayed at the invicta hotel on Saturday night. The invicta is a comfortable hotel, in walking distance of the town centre, the hoe park and the hoe, and the popular barbican area of Plymouth. Our room was well equipped (hairdryer, safe etc) comfortable bed, and a view to the park entrance. We had breakfast on Sunday morning, and I don't...

Three day stop over as we go house hunting. Staff extremely knowledgeable of the area and full of good suggestions. Our stay was excellent, nothing was too much bother, excellent breakfast which catered for every taste, Inc gluten free. We had an evening meal, plenty of it, hot and the home made curry was great! Rooms are spotless, really comfy beds...

Hi. Thanks for your review and we're sorry that you felt we were expensive. Whist the parking is limited it is actually free (charged for at many other hotels locally) and should guests require on street parking we have permits available. We also include free wifi for all guests which you would pay for at other hotels locally. We do...

Room average. Facilities tired. Greeting stoney and cold. Because there was a function no guests could have a bite to eat at lunch time and no evening meal available. Not very helpful at offering alternative help to strangers in the area. Breakfast staff delightful lovely helpful lady.

Hi. We're a little confused by your review. Meals were available and we did have many satisfied guests dine with us. You also mention that staff were not very helpful, again this sounds rather strange as we pride ourselves on our customer service and we are a friendly bunch! Are you able to tell us who you spoke with please...
