My wife and I had a wonderful weekend break, made even better by a very comfortable bed in room 16, so much so we are looking to see if we can buy the same bed for home. All the staff we were very friendly and helpful. We will be back.

We arrived in Plymouth after a 6 Hour drive from the North of England. The staff at reception were very fast and efficient at checking us in. Despite the reception being busy we were dealt with immediately. Our rooms were spotless with immaculate brilliant white bedding. Although we each had the smaller single room’s space was not an issue. The...

After reading numerous reviews for Hotels in Plymouth and researching prices, we chose the Invicta as it was well-reviewed, reasonably priced, well located for our needs and privately owned. The latter is what really makes this Hotel stand out, as it has a friendly, family feel to it that is a nice 'to have' when you are staying more than...

We stay here when we're in plymouth 2 to 3 times a year. Always clean and tidy and staff always welcoming and friendly. Location is brilliant, a short walk from the hoe, Barbican or town and many restaurants. Breakfast is always very good with good choice. Would defiantly recommend!

We have been looking for a "home from home" in Plymouth and now we can relax because we have found it in the Invicta. Such a delightful little hotel with the lovely Carol on duty who really couldn't do enough to help. We arrived at about 7pm after a four hour drive only to be told that their chef was...

I have just returned from a weekend in Plymouth. We were travelling with our dog and the first floor room we were given was ideal. A very large room with excellent shower and easy access to the park opposite to exercise the dog. Very comfy and huge bed and plenty of storage space with draws and a large wardrobe (complete...

Whenever I'm in Plymouth I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Once again the Invicta didn't disappoint. Being nosy it was great to be filled in on all the works going on. I stayed in one of the newly refurbished first floor rooms, and with the addition of some very cozy duvets it was a struggle to get up in the morning....

Stayed at this hotel last week in one of their newly refurbished rooms. Bed was so comfortable and found it difficult to get out of. The period decor really fits this Victorian building and the freshly cut flowers was a thoughtful touch that you don't see in other hotels. My partner loves his English breakfast but I prefer the obscure...

Having stayed at some of the other hotels in Plymouth and now finding that 2 of them have closed and or unable to get into a couple of lodges, we tried the Invicta. What a surprise. This small 3 star is in a brilliant location, within 2 mins of the Hoe and 10 mins to the Barbican. The room we had...
