Total lack of hygiene , the en suite was filthy, toilet , sink and shower had obviously not been cleaned in what looked like a few weeks. My room had been " cleaned" while i was out at work but closing the toilet lid and shower door do...

I needed a room in Plymouth and I found the Ashgrove House on my laterooms app. I arrived about 6.30 and parked in the only space on the outside street. As I'm good at parking I squezzed my big car in a tight space which many would find daunting but if I hadn't got into it God knows where I...

We arrive on time after booking this stay well in advance to find that the landlady had rebooked our room without telling us yea that's correct she decided she wanted her money upfront and went to take it from our card even tho on the confirmed booking I'd opted to pay in cash on arrival .she explained that it was...

Just wanted to write this review to say how brilliant the staff have been at this guest house. They have been very professional and polite. The prices are also really reasonable - would definitely recommend instead of staying at a standard chain in Plymouth.

Stayed for one night with a friend in the adjoining room. The hostess is very chatty and has a rather enthusiastic canine companion which may be off putting to some. The room was adequate and cheap however I was very disappointed to find the bin full of the previous guest's rubbish and laundry on the floor. I was also unable...

Being originally from Plymouth I thought it would be good to support a local business rather than a chain hotel. Sorry but never again. This place was truly awful; the bathroom was dirty and full of the last guest's hair, no loo roll, and the room was dusty. We left our bags and asked the landlady to sort it out...
